I love going to this place, they all make you feel right at home. My home away from home. All the ambassadors are well trained to meet all of your hair needs. I'm always pleased with the service I receive.
As soon as I walked in I knew this was where I wanted to start and continue my Loc journey. The atmosphere is amazing. The staff make you feel welcomed. I highly recommend this location for all natural care and loc needs. They even cater to needs of children that need services. Crown is my loctician and I've also been service by Selena she's amazing also! I had my original consultation by the current owner Kentrell and he made sure to answer all my questions and made sure that I was confident in the choice I made to start my journey. I appreciated the honesty and transparency of the journey and commitment I was making. 6 months strong on this journey and me to come! This is definitely the location you need to begin!!
I’m new to nc and was looking for a new hairdresser. I live in Fayetteville and drove an hour 06/18/2022 made it here at 9:50 my appointment was at 10am. I go to the entrance of the store and it’s a note saying it’s closed due to a power outage. However, there was zero communication to notify me of this. I received a text yesterday confirming my appointment so why couldn’t I have gotten a text saying your closed. Very unprofessional and disappointing!!
I came in for a haircut service on April 7th. My hair was full and healthy but, I just wanted it reshaped with layers. I showed the Stylist pictures of my desired haircut and told her that I wear my hair mostly blown out. She opted to cut my hair wet anyway because she'd "be able to cut the layers better". After the service, my hair was in a shrunken state so I wasn't able to see the true state of my hair. I returned home and after blowing my hair out, I could see that my hair was thinned out, misshapen, scraggly. I returned to the salon to ask for it to be fixed and for a refund (the state of my hair was so extreme that I couldn't pay for it). The manager at the front desk set the appointment for the next day at 11am and told be me she'd talk to her boss about the refund. I arrived the next day and was told that either they'd fix my hair or a refund would be granted but, not both. The boss had told the manager that I requested layers and since that's the "service" I got they wouldn't do both. I opted to have it fixed at first but, after being told I couldn't get it done that day (after setting an appointment for it) I asked for a refund.
I totally understand mistakes happen and I truly do believe that hair stylists should be given an opportunity to fix it and still be compensated. In my case though it wasn't a simple mistake. My hair was in a horrible state after leaving it in the hands of a professional. Now I'll have to find another salon to fix my hair and it will take me over a year to recover the length and density I lost.
Edit - In response to the owner
The proof is in the pictures. I didn't do anything to my hair except blow dry it after the service. I left with my hair in a shrunken state (2 inches from my scalp) and I was unable to see how bad the haircut was until it was stretched. My hair was ruined at your shop and the customer service after the haircut was subpar. It'd be better to take responsibility for the situation instead of implying a customer "did something" to their hair following the service. I've been taking care of my natural hair for 10 years and it's never looked like this under my care. The customers and stylists who complimented my hairstyle that morning can vouch for that.
This salon has such a great vibe. The owner of LN&M walked in with such a huge smile and proceeded to walk around to personally greet all of the customers within his establishment. I immediately felt that he truly have a passion for ensuring that each client not only feel welcomed, but are taken care of during their hair experience. And, what a great experience did I have during my appointment!! Fame was my Loctician and she did such an amazing job!! She was very professional and proficient…no excessive talking or unnecessary distractions, but constant focus on providing me with a great hair experience, but in a short period of time. I live 60 miles away from LN&M, but despite the distance I will definitely continue coming back!!
