Well let us say don't trust their word, if it is not in writing then they don't care. Quoted me for installation show up the day of and tell me that it will be double the quoted amount. They definitely made a mistake but they didn't care. Service manager said go ahead for that price, than he came back 5 minutes later saying he can't do the installation for that price. Even the lady that had quoted me didn't up hold her word. thought I had found a dealership that was a cut above the rest. I was sorely mistaking. Use them at your own risk.
We knew our exact financial situation and what our problem would be getting a car. The salesman showed us a great truck and we loved it but after we test drove it and sat around for two hours we were told that they couldn’t do anything for us because of the exact situation we had explained. I’m furious they showed us a truck we couldn’t get and why does it take two hours to get a no on something I already told you was the problem.
I recently bought a 2015 Dudoge Durango. I worked with Jim Gills for the purchase of it. Jim is truly not only a great business man but an honest good, caring person. He made sure to find me a good, reliable car that I could could count on for transporting my family in and one that I could afford. I would definitely come back and have further purchases from Jim. Customer service was through the roof and just an all over friendly environment. I wouldn't go anywhere else now that I have been here. Once again thank you!
We purchased a 2016 Ram 2500 from Lochmandy. This vehicle was still under the manufacturer’s warranty when we took it in for paint peeling off the body on the driver’s side of the vehicle. Tami in the body shop took pictures of the truck and said that they would get back with us. She came back and said that Dodge would not be covering the paint under the manufacturer’s warranty because the running boards were taken off. The running boards were not on the vehicle when we purchased it. When we asked to speak to the GM of the store we were told that was not an option and that we were pretty much SOL. We took the truck to two other body shops and we were shown where this truck had paint work done to it. Both of the body shops that examined the truck said that it was damaged and not painted properly. When we purchased the truck, we were told that it was a dealership demo transfer and that it had never been in an accident. They never disclosed that this truck had body work done to it. Since then, the paint has started peeling off of the truck on the passenger side as well. We also took the truck in for service a few weeks after picking it up for the breaks making a horrendous noise. The service department said that there was nothing wrong with the breaks and everything was within spec. Tell that to the person that is pulling up to a stoplight in a 2016 truck that sounds like a cash for clunkers vehicle.
My experience with buying my 2016 Dodge Ram 2500 was great, Jeremy was a good salesman to work with. However I spent over 40k for a truck still under warranty and getting them to fix anything with this truck was awful. The biggest issue is the paint on the rocker panel and fenders is all pealing off and I get no help from them at all. I'm absolutely sick over the fact that I bought a gorgeous truck and after washing it twice the paint started coming off and just keeps getting worse. There reason behind the paint coming off was that the factory running boards were removed. They were not removed by me and the truck was a dealership transfer so I'm still not sure how that is my fault.I have gone to two body shops who accessed that the truck was damaged and painted improperly and that is the reason for the paint pealing. Both took one look and said "Well that is not factory Dodge primer for sure." Still no help from Lochmandy. My 2007 Dodge Ram had less paint missing than this truck that is almost new. To say I'm disappointed would be an understatement. That was the third vehicle my family has purchased from there and it will be the last.
I was pretty satisfied I guess you can say with my car. I had no credit and never had taken on a payment before so I was pretty excited; I've had the car for only 5 months now. Then I got my 2014 Dodge Dart GT, and let me tell you. I've already invested over a grand into it and possibly more because the transmission is getting ready to go. I bought it with NO OIL and a BAD CLUTCH. I've had to put new tires, brake pads, oil twice, a cool air intake, an alignment, etc. I'm tired of the car and would like something different, OR I WILL GO TO A DIFFERENT COMPANY!
A fantastic experience at Lochmandy! I highly recommend stopping in and asking for Travis Oiler. He is polite, friendly and efficient and always helpful answering all of the questions we had. We bought my Jeep Wrangler over a year ago and when we look into buying another vehicle I definitely will go to Lochmandy and see Travis.
Great experience with Matt Beckett at Lochmandy Motors! He was able to get me the best car for the best price! Make sure you definitely ask for him. The process was smooth and I get FREE car washes!!! 😁Thanks again Matt Beckett!
I took my car to Lochmandy Motors to be detailed and it looks amazing! Friendly customer service, impeccable work - would highly recommend!
My salesman, Freddy, was very nice and friendly -- until he ran my credit, which is, admittedly, not the best. After he ran he my credit his entire demeanor changed. He became visibly uninterested, impatient, and curt, as if I'd come into the dealership solely to waste his time. Adding injury to insult, then (or was it revenge for having the gall to come in there with less than perfect credit?), he sold me a car that he assured me was in good condition, but, in less than a month's time, the brakes have begun squealing and the air conditioner makes a terrible, screeching, banshee-like sound whenever it's turned on. After my repeated requests to have these issues fixed (on a car that I paid nearly $5,000 more than its worth, and on which I am making ridiculous monthly payments, because apparently people with poor credit are not to be treated with the same courtesy, respect, and customer service as those with better credit would certainly receive), I was rudely informed that "there's nothing we can do about the a/c. Sorry." The brakes were checked (allegedly), but I was informed there's nothing wrong with them -- which does nothing to explain the awful sound they make whenever they're engaged or released. I'm so unhappy with my experiences with Lochmandy Motors, and highly discourage anyone from doing any business at all with this company. I was ripped off and taken advantage of. It's unacceptable.
Nice GM service. Knowledgeable and friendly technicians. Very reliable. Kudos to Kevin.
A wonderful company! Everyone is very nice and polite. Service department is great, detail department is the best in town.
Needed to have my car repaired that I purchased heremade sure my warranty covered itknew the problem pretty much..took it in to have the work done at scheduled time.was told it could be one of three things when I mentioned what I thought it waswas told the person handling it would call mefinally called herknow one told hersaid they would look at it the next day. Got the call that they don't have the equipment to check the diagnostics on a Ford I would have to take it to a Ford dealer. Picked up the car and wondered why they wouldn't have the plug in to test a Ford? They have a 30000.00 dollar GM machine. They very seldom work on Fords. Interesting since they sell used Fords. He also explained he wished he could fix it he hated losing the opportunity to make the money. Now they want me to go to Ziegler which can diagnose they problem. Strange that a dealership the size of Lochmandy can't work on a Ford. As far as the purchase of my car I was thrilled with my salesman Josh Borden super guy.i have put 40,000 miles on this car and it has been a wonderful car to drive. I know you can't always be satisfied when dealing with a used car dealership but Lochmandy is a big time dealership and they can't work on a Ford seems fishy to me. Oh well live and learn. Not to be sarcastic but I willjust got my Taurus back from the other dealer I had to go to since Lochmandy can't work on Fords according to the service writer that I had to deal with. I was right when I told him what was wrong plus the test he said you needed equipment for actually only turning your key on and listening to the faulty part which I told him. Now the special equipment needed to replace this part.one socket,a socket wrench, short extension, regular screwdriver..4 tools. Oh well my car is fixed and Josh Borden is still a great salesman and sold me a great car as far as my service experience not so great. It takes a lot to set me off and that service writer that wouldn't listen ignored me as he leaned on a desk and told stories to another guy to the point another employee had to make him take car of me. I thank you for sending me to Harold Ziegler Ford they were top notch.
