Food was awesome loved the Wiley oysters omg so good. But horrible when my bill came it was only cash n I had to leave my date to go look for a atm. Who walks around with like $150 in cash now a days. Was alittle embarrassed.

If you are in Gowanus, you must try the deliciously smoky cocktail Free Smoke. The smoke of the mescal and juicy pineapple goes perfect with the brine of fresh oysters and the oh-so-yummy Portuguese Stew!!
Oh, and they offer a sidecar of draft beer… yes please! The 21ST Amendment Hell or High Watermelon is a summer favorite of mine! This is definitely a fun place for a date with your fellow seafood lover.
Can’t wait to check out their brunch menu at the newest location in Williamsburg!

Happy hour at its best. $5 drafts and $1.25 oysters. Clams are always $12 for a dozen. Tonight's specialty was Beau Soleil from New Brunswick. Super fresh seafood. Try the mussels and the steamers. Bar staff was super friendly too. Only thing that could make his place better is if it were on the ocean and there was live music in the evening. This was my first time, but I will be back.

Great place for fresh seafood. Love their clam po boy, which is overloaded with yummy fried clams. They make very good cocktails. And of course, oysters. They have a great selection and if you get their for happy hour great prices.

This is purely on service and ridiculous policies because I wasn't actually able to get any food from here. I tried to first call in an order and was told they don't take orders over the phone. So I walked over there and tried to order, but the hostess said that they only take orders online on Saturday nights because it's busy on Seamless, their prices are $2 more expensive per menu item Hostess was rude and not courteous.
Hey management, try not to bilk your customers for not eating in the restaurant.
Complete disappointment.

Unexpected in a great way!! First time here and came in on a whim. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. Drinks were perfectly balanced(Yes, there are some places that mess up a basic vodka & cranberry). We ordered several items off the menu and we were not disappointed. The littleneck clams tasted fresh and clean, the shrimp cocktail was excellent. For me the star was the clam rollit tasted amazing and was stuffed full. I highly recommend it! Also the crab cake was light and flavorful. Then dessert cameYUMthese little donuts, made fresh, hot soft inside, crispy outside, with a Jameson infused whipped cream. I enjoyed the entire experience and will be visiting again bringing friends & family. I hope my next experience will be as great as my first, for my expectations are quite high now, so many places fall off because the quality goes down. Keep up the great work to the front and back of house.

The food was good and the bartender made a killer martini. I think what stood out about Littleneck overall was the service. Very friendly and made us fee super comfortable and like they really enjoyed having us there. We ate mostly raw bar items. It was all great. Expensive, but for the quality worth it.

Never seated. Arrived with my wife and daughter. There were plenty of open tables. Was told in a condescending tone it would be a 45 minute wait. I left my cellphone number. They never called. We obviously did not fit their upscale hipster demographic. Felt unwelcome.

I wonder if the human rights commission, or even the local paper, would send testers.

In response to the rude response from the owner, I was reminded of my family's absolutely horrible experience at Littleneck from about a year ago, by the similar, but milder, rudeness I experienced yesterday at Insa. That review was similar, but milder. What we experienced at Littleneck has stuck with me for all this time. This review is under my name, and I am a real person who, together with my family, was really insulted by our treatment.

The condescending tone still shows, even when the owner tries to respond: I didn't "think" this happened to us. It happened. My wife talked me out of filing a discrimination complaint. We couldn't decide whether it was age (my take), race (my wife's take) or just that we weren't hip enough (my daughter's take).

Enjoyable atmosphere and good place to meet with close friends - you don't have to raise your voice to hear each other. Food was decent. Service was great.
