Terrific sushi. Fish is good and fresh and the chefs know what they're doing. The service is great

We ordered take out. When we arrived to pick it up, they didn't have the food and tried to convince us that my girlfriend lied about even placing the order. We had to show them the call history on her phone to prove they made the mistake. No apology for accusing my girlfriend of being a liar, no complementary food offer for the mistake. They tried to made us feel ashamed for their mistake.

The hibachi is good. I usually get tjebsteak and shrimp. The sushi is also good for the price when they habe specials, all the time. There is a parking lot on the side of the building, you can only see it from State street side of the building.

Had the sushi, not hibachi. The portions are large for non - sushi items (edamame, rice) and normal for sushi. Quality was normal-good.

For a Saturday night at a sushi/hibachi restaurantthis place was dead. Hibachi had one full party and my wife and I were one of three couples in the dining area away from hibachi. Staff was fine. Nothing to praise or thumb my nose at.

Menu is huge. A lot to pick from. Having said thatthe sushi was just ok. With the lack of others in the place I thought we'd get our food quick. That wasn't the case.

Overall three stars is generous. I would go back but not until I visit others in the New Haven area to compare.

I came here with my two friends. We were greeted with a dirty look from a woman employee which was very rude but other than that, our waitress was very nice. She was patient even though we took a long time when we were deciding what to order. The prices are fair and the food is beautiful and fantastic. The sushi is delightful. I will be returning!
