Great little lodge! Family owned and wonderfully staffed. Very clean room, spotless to be exact. Quiet and peaceful. If you have to stay in Sandy Hook, this is your choice.

We loved this place! Very accommodating for our big family. The rooms were very clean and the staff kind and friendly! They even put snacks in the room knowing my Grandkids were coming. We would absolutely stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed this quaint little lodge in the middle of nowhere! It is family owned and the owners were just down home Kentuckianssuper friendly and helpful. It was a great price and clean, comfortable place to stay.

Quite, peaceful, and lovely view. The room was clean and had a neat crafts type decor. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooms so reasonably priced.

I love this place--quiet, super clean, beautiful scenery. I was treated like family. My daughter and I stayed here on 2 separate occasions and highly recommend it.

Loved this place.. Entering the place the view blew myself and my girlfriends mind.. The ladies at the front desk greeted us with open arms The perfect definition of the ultimate relaxing get away
Only complaint is the rooms looking like a hotel instead of a cabin feel But we loved it..cant wait to drive 2 1/2 hours to get away again

Okay. I travel. A lot. My expectations for a hotel / lodge are somewhat high. This place was wonderful. It was marvelous and I dare to even use my all time favorite adjective EXQUISITE.

Okay first of all; the staff. They are so very friendly and actually care about their guests. I was traveling with my twins and needed to have to pack and plays for them… The owner had them overnighted to the lodge, and they were all set up for me upon check-in. She went above and beyond.

Next; the rooms are well-maintained, the bed is comfortable, and most importantly, cleanliness was an obvious priority for them.

Third; The location of the lodge is perfect… It is off one of the main roads, but tucked away in a cozy little hill of beautiful scenery.

If I am ever even close to Sandyhook Kentucky again, I will be staying here… I would rather stay here than any other hotel I've experienced.

Well done, Little Sandy Lodge, well done.

One of the best places we stayed on our trip. Down home country feel. Nice clean rooms, friendly staff, reasonably prices, quiet and secluded.
