Cabin #5
Very dissatisfied. From the beginning this place had terrible customer service. I'd wait forever for a response to my emails, then after booking I received no directions, no instructions, no other correspondence until I requested it and I also requested information on how to pay the balance due. I ask for a cabin with river access because that was our main concern was fishing while we were there and was told we could hike there, I ask all these questions in the beginning.. we arrived the first night and laid around in the hot tub (that leaks everywhere and has no steps on the outside to get in, and the control panel doesn't work properly, nor do the lights) the next morning we looked for the hiking trail we found a trail and followed it as far as we could to the point we could no longer get our poles through it without breaking them because it was too grown up. I was also told that if we didn't hike there we could access it from the main road, well there was no access there either. Needless to say we did not get to fish like we thought we would. Also jets would not turn off on the hot tub and the hot tub would cause some plumbing noises in the cabin so we listened to that noise all night and also walk through water on the back porch from the hot tub leaking to get in and out. Mind you the hot tub went from being full to being half full in one night of usage. Since we had no access to fishing near by and was dissatisfied with the hot tub noises because we couldn't sleep we only stayed one night, we were ready to fish that's what we planned on doing all weekend long and that's the only reason we rented this cabin. When I reached out to the owners about my concerns they were very rude and unprofessional to me,
I didn't ask for my money.. I just wanted then to know they misrepresented this cabin to me They were saying because I didn't call them etc, that it was my fault I couldn't find the trail, it was my fault.. This and that.. just keep in mind if you rent a cabin from these owners , you will have to request everything because they sure won't provide it, and if you have valid concerns they will just be rude to you. FYI there is also no wifi or cell service.
This is the response to my email about being dissatisfied.
There is a trail to the river, if you had asked and told us that is why you were there to specifically fish we could have shown it to you,(I did tell them, they provided nothing the last on the phone said go through the gate and follow the trail.. We did) however, you did not.(yes I did) If you did not like the cabin you did not have to stay there the first night( came in from out of town, noticed the issues that night and next morning then emailed then on Saturday morning just hearing back from them on Tuesday night) you could have left. Absolutely wonderful! Perfect getaway for a nice, quiet escape!! Strongly recommend this time of year!! Thank you for this beautiful place!! 5 stars!!

My family always has a wonderful time going to Little River I have people come in from the Gulf all summer long and we have a blast
