Had to euthanize my dog, Chance today. Everyone was so kind and compassionate during this very difficult time. They all went way above and beyond for us. Very surprised by the negative review and had to post mine in response. I don't know what I would do without Line Street Vet. They are the most caring practice I have ever been to. When I moved away from Columbia City 15 years ago, I tried other vets for a few years and had to come back to Line Street. I now drive 30 miles to go there so that Dr. Mawhorter and his staff can see my dogs (6) and cats (5). I know of at least two other families that I've referred to Line Street who travel 20+ miles and have done this for five years in one case and two years in another.

Line Street Vet is clean, fastest ever at getting you out of the lobby and into a room, and very knowledgeable, but the best part is the caring staff. They know my name and my pets names. There are always multiple assistants and vet techs in the room, assisting you and the doctor during your visit. They don't hire anyone who isn't passionate about animals and wonderful with people. I don't know what I would do without them.

Wow. What a great experience! First impressions were great: walked in to an organized and clean vet clinic. Fresh smell and everything in its place. Friendly staff greeted me right away, which is refreshing not having to wait. I have been at places where they made me wait in line, despite my immediate need to see someone. This was not the case for Line Street, they were prompt and caring. The vets took care of my animal as if it was their own, which I feel is hard to find anymore these days. They were very organized, and I felt I could ask them anything during my animal's examination without feeling rushed. Their expertise and experience really showed. The vet thoroughly explained what was being done and what I would be charged for. I left feeling informed and confident I received quality care for my animal. Very nice set-up all together and would DEFINITELY go back! I recommend Line Street Veterinary Hospital to anyone looking for caring and quality care.
