This place has great bartenders and super awesome fries. Place is cozy and upscale. Not a huge food menu. Cocktails are expensive.

Nice dark atmosphere with jazz playing and distinct area with sofas. Limited range of cocktails but well crafted, and good value. Exceptional happy hour daiquiri for $6.

Very busy hipster bar, so crowded you can't walk in. Patio is cool but you have to be indoors by 1am and the bar tells you at 1:30am to finish your drink and leave. Really? Not one employee smiled starting with the security guard. Won't be going back. Positive note they have a good selection oh alcohol.

Went here after the Staples center. We tried the crostinis which were delicious but expensive. My favorites are the short rib and egg salad. Then I had a sidecar and tequila mockingbird. Bartender provided great service. We showed up around 5 and left around 7 pm on a Saturday. Still plenty of seating at that time. I really enjoyed both drinks.

Great place to come have a drink. Atmosphere is nice and drinks are great. They do also serve food. Feels kind of like a coffee shop to be honest, with shelves and books in the background. Not sure if you can actually read the books, but I imagine you'd be more than welcome to try! Overall, pretty great experience.

This spot was really cool. The vibe was great and chill with the library and lounge gimmick. The cocktails were really well done (give the Hemingway a shot) and Shawn of the Dead was playing on their big screen before music came on which was just fun. Only thing is food was overpriced so if you are tryna be there a minute, don't come hungry. Otherwise a real fun spot id come back to for drinks

I would recommend this venue for groups as the tables tightly tucked into the book lined walls makes for a very cozy setting. The seating is wide enough to accommodate groups, yet allows for easy conversation.

Ordered a Negroni while I waited on dinner. It tasted fine, but did nothing to stand out.

The food menu felt limited given that food is often billed as their main draw. Nevertheless, the food was delicious. I ordered their braised beef sandwich, which turned out to be a more upscale version of the pot roast sandwich. The fries were crisp, and surprisingly large!

Cool little spot. The beer and cocktail selection was superb, but I'd also like to give the bartenders a shout. I absolutely hate when bar staff live up to the stereotype of a pretty female bartender who is sluggish and isn't knowledgeable. These ladies were attractive, to be sure, but they were quick, attentive, and damned good at their job. Props!

This place is cool albeit a bit small. It can get crowded for happy hour especially on Thursdays and Fridays. Drink specials are fairly decent. It can also take a while to get a drink as there are only two bartenders for the most part and they aren't the fastest at preparing their hipster, elaborate concoctions. A good place to start but not to end the night at IMO.

Absolutely love this place. Great decor with shelves lined with books, a bar with a great beer selection and artisanal cocktails, and there is typically a DJ spinning. The only con is size! Oh how I wish this place was a little bigger!

Man o Man talk about a hole in the wall! Seriously so hard to find this place but when you do you will be glad you did! We did a search of course on Yelp, for Oysters, boom this place popped up! We walk in on a Saturday night, pretty chill place, I would even call it spooky lol. It is such a weird vibe in a positive way hard to describe! The bartender who was off the charts super cool guy whose name I of course forgot, was so knowledgeable about his drinks. We ordered all 3 drinks and he made them custom. None were on the menu. We told them what we do like and what we do not like and boom there they were, all three drinks perfectly mixed! Very chill atmosphere, very dark again in a positive way. Saw lots of couples there, overall an amazing experience! Thank you! Oh of course Oysters were so fresh and tasty!! Just go with what they recommend !
