Had a great experience! I had to work next day of my procedure and the Doctor went out of his way to accommodate my schedule to do my post- op, the staff is super friendly and helpful.

Dr Steve Lewis is fantastic. Very personable and friendly with my daughter. Informative and kind. We haven't had any bad experiences with eye doctors, but he definitely stood out as exceptional.

Unfortunately, I had a pretty bad experience. Went to the Provo office. Was badgered about getting Lasik. When I refused and said I only needed contacts this go around, I was given an inaccurate prescription, it was less strong than I've had for years. I questioned the doctor about it but he wouldn't change. So I tried the new prescription, thinking maybe the doctor was right. After a week my eyes were aching, trying to adjust and cope to this new prescription. I scheduled a follow up visit and they sent me to Lehi. The doctor showed some letters on the screen and I had to guess on each one. He said that was good enough and wouldn't change the prescription. So I drove to Walmart, met with a doctor there and he fitted me with my original prescription. Wasn't able to use my insurance on contacts, had to pay extra out of pocket for a much more thorough exam at Walmart.

Great quality of service! The doctor and the three other staff members who helped me were incredibly thorough and friendly. They helped me find the most financially reasonable deal for the service I needed.

Unfortunately, I have had two very poor experiences with Standard Optical. I scheduled a basic eye exam to get a prescription renewed. It took almost an hour from my scheduled appointment time before I was even able to see the eye doctor. It is now a few months later, and I needed new contacts. I contacted Standard Optical, and they actually gave me the best price, so I ordered through them. When I ordered I was told that the product would arrive on Saturday, or Tuesday at the latest (it was on Thursday, but Monday was a holiday). On Tuesday I call to see if my order is in, and I am told that because of the holiday the shipments are a day behind, so the order will be there on Wednesday. I call back on Wednesday, and I am told that the contacts won't be there until Thursday. Fortunately the contacts did arrive on Thursday, but I was clearly lied to multiple times in an attempt to get me to buy my contacts from them.

I had ICL surgery and have had all my follow up appointments here. They are all great, no complaints at all! Great company overall
