This place is great. They have great coffee, good pasteries, and the prices are decent. People wise, the staff is pretty cool, the owner is awesome, the weekend crowd is a little on the strange side. But, the weekday crowd is mostly college kids but overall the environment is usually chill, and great artwork is always on display, definitely check this place out!!!

Lestats is one of my favorite places in town to meet up and hang out with friends over a latte and cheesecake. The sandwiches are super fresh and delicious and they never ever close. Not to mention everyone who works for this company is awesome and fun to be around. Favorite coffee house in San Diego, hands down!

24hr coffee?!? Hells yes! Great place to study, make art, meet with friends or relax. Art, atmosphere, great coffee and food/desert offerings.

This coffee shop is really cozy and has plenty of character. Great coffee and staff as well. Will definitely revisit when I'm back in town.

Lestat's is a great coffee house, open 24/7.
I love that they have great coffee and so many different ready-to-pour blends. There are vegan and vegetarian options, and the staff are usually very friendly.

Good place to work on your laptop for a long spell. One of the last old school 90's style comfy coffee shops where everything isn't necessarily instagram worthy and perfect, (although I love those places) this is just a different welcoming nice standby.

Great atmosphere and awesome coffee! The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is the lack of cosmetic maintenance of the building. The swamp cooler in the middle also wasn't the best look. I still keep coming back for the coffee though.

I just love the atmosphere, the community feel. There are all of the free local papers, a mini book exchange, free water (w/lemon), lots of varied seating and plug access, plus a great selection of beverages. Love the quiche as well. Only two bathrooms, but so far it's worked out. You just can't beat the 24-hr experience and all that space.

Friendly service even super early in the morning with a great drink selection. The drinks really taste like coffee which is a good thing for a coffee house. The atmosphere is very mellow and inviting and is a good place to mingle. Big rooms and nice spacious tables allow people to study there as well.

One of my favorite coffee shops in SD. Fantastic specialty drinks, great coffee, warm atmosphere, friendly fun staff. So much art on the walls, and a performance space next door that features local musicians and comedians. Open 24 hours, a great place to hang out and get some work done, or just enjoy great drinks and art. They also have a selection of food, snacks, tarts and pastries. Well worth a visit.

I went initially because of the open 24 hrs thing, but I have since fallen in love with the place. The staff is always very friendly and welcoming. The patrons are a very eclectic mix. Thank you for being awesome!

Always open & always packed yet -somehow!- always still inviting and never obnoxious! 3am or 3pm, bring your book, your laptop, or your boyfriend, grab a couch & a (Super- Guilty Pleasure of a-) desert and make yourself at home! It'd be weird if you didn't.

My favorite drinks: Jimmie Milano, Wellness Tea, and Hawaiian Vacation.

Plenty of seating, 24 hours, and incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Great place to get some studying or computer work done

I love the fact that they're open 24hrs! I often have to leave for work at 6am in the morning or off late at 2am in the morning. It's nice to be able to grab some well made coffee or pastries from a local business compared to the corporation across the street. They also support local artist with an ever changing collection of art for sale.

Their Vietnamese coffee is strong and correctly made with condensed milk. I have yet to venture from that option as it's my personal favorite type of coffee that's sadly not found at the big chains.

Thank you Lestat's for providing the fuel for life!

I'm sort of a regular here now and it's not hard to see why. Great staff, excellent atmosphere, good lattes. It's quiet enough to get your work done but still people watch at the same time. The decor is uber-eclectic and the clientele is creative.
