Be aware, their patio is NOT pet friendly. When asked, they said: “Pet friendly? Yes. Service animals only. So yes.” Since service animals are, by law, welcome in every restaurant, and those are the only animals they allow, the honest answer is NO.

Long traveling day. Looking forward to the spicy shrimp to dip in butter ice cold beer and fried oyster dinner. The beer was perfect. No butter for the spicy shrimp cocktail sauce strange. Fried oysters were delicious once it came out of the kitchen the second time. Severe allergy to onions and there were raw onions on the garnish. We sat outside we relaxed we enjoyed it and yes we would go back

Interesting place. We sat at the bar. The service was great. Food just ok. The place is not very big and it felt like the tables were crowding the bar. A big party came in and it felt like we were trapped at the bar. Really tight.

Service was fine, food was greasy and overpriced, but the worst thing was the wastage. The sheer amount of single-use plastic thrown away was pretty disgusting. I asked the waiter whether they recycled and he said they didn't, had been doing things the same way for thirty years and this was because washing the cutlery, plates etc was less environmentally friendly for the water. This may be the case, but other restaurants in the area seem to manage and even if the washing of things was such an eco issue, surely they could at least recycle them?

A fun place to bring your catch. They cook your fish for you. We fed 2 families and didn't have to clean anything afterward!

Definitely not fresh! I had fried shrimp that looked delicious but when I tasted them, they were so fishy. Ugh. They'd been sitting awhile. My husband's fish and chips were hard! Again tho They looked delicious. Service was pretty awful too. Dining area was dirty. Table was sticky even after our server pretended to wash it again. We won't be back.

Very good food with large portions and a fair price. Great service. Large parties may have a longer wait, but my wife and I were seated immediately. A great place for families with a fun atmosphere.

Great host and service. Food was excellent. Even made fried clams for my wife. Not even on menu. Fun atmosphere and neat setup. Blackened grouper was outstanding. Oysters we're freash on half shell.

Some of the worst fried fish ever. I had a grouper basket and the batter was thick and tough. The fish trapped inside the batter was okay but not like fresh grouper I'm familiar with. The meal sat like a brick afterwards.

OTOH, the service was very good. Food came quickly. Draft beer is cheap. Atmosphere is as you would choose for an old fish house, it's pleasant.

People seem to love this place. Is it me, or just what I ordered?

Been going to Lazy Flamingo for over a decade and their food and service are consistently good. Their conch chowder is excellent and of course, their mesquite grilled grouper is a must. Love their oysters, too. Was disappointed yesterday, however, by their very overcooked peel-&-eat shrimp. That's sort of unforgivable for a seafood-themed sports bar to mess up boiled shrimp. I'll go back, though. You should go, too.

Stopped in this place because of all the great reviews. Boy was I disappointed!!! Started out with the fried shrimp for an appetizer. They were obviously frozen popcorn shrimp way over breaded. Taste like they were dumped out of a frozen bag. I order the peel and eat shrimp. They were so overcooked i hardly could peel them. Really rubbery. Didn't think anyone could mess them up. Wow

Great place to eat and get a beer while on the island. Maybe the best place to eat and the youngest crowd you will see on the island. GREAT service.

Great local spot! The clam chowder and fried shrimp are some of the best in the area! Nice beachy atmosphere too. Recommended!
