We have eaten there many times and have never had a bad meal! Great appetizers. We love the burgers too. Pizza is really good. Can't say anything bad about Shay's! The drinks are pretty good too! :)

One of the best places in the area to get something great to eat at a good price! When we stay in Manistee we come to Onekama just to visit Shay's.

We have been visiting Shay's Chop House since the summer of 2010 and have always been pleased with our meals. I love to start with a spinch salad with the classic warm sour dressing. The pizzas are great (love when they run the b1g1 pizza special!) and the prime rib available on the weekends is always a good bet. The seafood mac and cheese never disappoints, and my mother always always orders the parmesan whitefish. I especially appreciate that on Fridays you can get a child-sized fish fry portion for the kids.

I just love the atmosphere, they open the door for you and welcome you will a smile!
we started out with the spinach artichoke dip, which was delicious! We had many different types of options for the main corse, I got their seafood mac which i return for alot! My boy friend got the king prime rib and i have never see a steak the big before. the service was good they kept our drinks full and were always checking on us. over all i would say Shays chop house is a great restaurant and i will be bringing my family back!
