My husband and I went to Laughing Seed several days ago while we were visiting Asheville. We both ordered the Reuben and it was without exaggeration the best sandwich either of us has ever eaten. As I told the server, if all vegetarian food tasted like this, everyone would be a vegetarian.

Aside from great food, our service was excellent. My husband and I came to the restaurant at 8:30. We thought that they closed at 10, but when the whole place was empty at 9, we realized that they actually closed at 9. I am a server, too, and I know how frustrating it is when people come in right before close. We never would have gone in that late if we had known that they were closing in 30 minutes, but our server and the rest of the staff was nothing but gracious.

Great food, great service. We will visit Asheville again if only to eat that Reuben.

This restaurant was an excellent find! The food was delicious and the service fantastic. If you did not know any better you would never know that the food was vegan or vegetarian. Everything was fresh and flavorful.

Server at the bar was very nice. I was just looking for some small sides of fruit and ginger tea. My wife who had gotten ill on our trip at the hotel really enjoyed it. I picked up a cookie for myself on the way out. Nice local vegetarian friendly place.

Love this place. Food is always good and love the non alcohol drink selection. Just be aware that the place is closed on Tuesdays. So if you plan on coming to Asheville for a day trip, make sure it's not on a Tuesday because you want to here for lunch or dinner.

The food was good. Our waitress was great. She was split between two sections and did great. There were three others that served the food that really need some help in how to be a waitress. There attitudes were pretty crappy to say the least. I was happy that they weren't our actual servers. To be honest I don't think I'll be going back.

Raw zucchini cashew cheese ricotta with fresh, raw marinara To die for!!- which is ironic, because nothing had to die for this amazing vegan, gluten free meal. One of the best vegan flavor experiences yet. Great vibe, fantastic service!

Amazing vegetarian and vegan food. The jalapeno and onion fries with vegan ranch are incredible. Even if you're not vegetarian. I was with my brother who is not at all vegetarian but he loved it too.

One of the better healthy vegan dining options in Asheville that offers table service and outdoor seating. I highly recommend the Buddha Bowls that come with layers of fresh organic vegetables, grains and sprouts. We ate here a few times during my visit and had a great experience overall. I would not recommend the burger, however, I thought it was mushy and small which left me hungry compared to the bowls. We also tried their appetizer with nut cheeses and picked vegetables which was a bit pricey but tasty. What I appreciate most is that they offer very fresh healthy options, which is not always the case with popular vegan restaurants. It's easy to eat whole foods here :D

My favorite place in AVL. When asked where I want to have lunch it is always here. Also where I take my guests when they visit. Try the Reuben. It's amazing!

We ate outside. Seating back from a not too busy road and restaurant within walking distance of cute shops. Vegan friendly and nice to our dog too!

Really not sure about this place. I am very much into knowing exactly what I'm eating and whether or not items are organic or local and organic. On the menu some items are marked as organic which eludes me to thinking the items that are not marked organic are not organic. I asked my waitress's and she was super friendly but just wasn't fully sure about the ingredients used. For me this is the most important aspect of a restaurant. I got the zucchini pesto and that was good, a bit salty but tasted good. Very pretty presentation. Are the chocolate chips used in the cookies vegan and organic? These questions it was hard to get a clear answer to.
