Maybe the best rooms in the area. They are clean, good sized rooms. The bar on the top floor WAS NOT welcoming.

We truly enjoyed our dining experience. Our server was attentive and very helpful. We didn't have to ask for any refills and our food came quickly. The restaurant is a very nice place to eat and is always clean.

Stayed here while my grandfather was in the hospital, they offer a special rate. the room was very clean, all the staff were as nice and friendly as could be, and it is only 2 minutes from pikeville medical center.

I have enjoyed dinner at the Landmark Inn for over 30 years now. The food is good old fashion southern cooking. This last visit I had smothered chicken with fried green tomatoes and mashed potatoes. It was excellent. I wish they would bring back the prime rib. It was amazing! Dinner aside, the rooms are nice and the pool has a slide that is at least 25 feet tall. Lots of other businesses are within walking distance.

Unfortunately, Landmark is on a downswing in the kitchen again.. I'll have to wait awhile to revisit. My burger that they wont cook even medium now was like leather, and not put together well. Huge piece of lettuce hanging out of the bun. No condiments. The reuben sandwich had no dressing in it and the meat was about 1/4 inch slab instead of very thin or shaved.too tough to eat. We also had to wait exceedingly long considerng it was not busy.I was very disappointed.

The landmark hotel is a very clean, and slightly retro in style. If you have a family member in the nearby Pineville medical hospital the room charge is significantly lower if you can provide them with the patients name and room number. The bathrooms are a bit small but not too small. My wife and i stayed in 2 seperate rooms and in one room the bed was extra firm and the pillows were plastic-like, while the second stay gave us a room with much softer and more comfortable bed and feather pillows. All in all a highly recommended place to stay in Pikeville.

I lived in this Hotel for 13 weeks. I've had some good, some bad and some ugly experiences. Front desk staff was very friendly and mostly accommodating. I worked nights and slept during days. The hotel was constantly under construction so it was always noisy so it was kinda hard to get good sleep during the day because of loud construction noise. The worst part was the Room service. While doing room service. One day as i was wiping my face and ended up getting lots of tiny hair in my mouth. Well the night before I had trimmed my beard. When they came to do room service, they set clean towel on dirty sink top with my trimmed beard hair. I was upset and I complain but not much changed. I often found hair in my towels. The room service walked on me twice, once I was just getting out of shower and other time I was in bed. I had do not disturb sign up but it was ignored by room service. Privacy and cleanliness was the least at this place. Restaurant is alright. Overall its ok place.
