Tom was great! He was the only one working and got me and my family taken care of. This was my first time getting my nails done and he was nice and very helpful.
I had an amazing experience getting my nails done at Lamour Nails. Yau and Thom are amazing artists and can do any design or style you could dream of. I felt relaxed and calm. It's almost been 4 weeks since I've had my nails done and people are still asking if I just got my nails done. They grow out so well. Yau and Thom get 2 thumbs up! Wonderful nail salon, I will NEVER go any place else!
Went with my friend to get pedi's and it was horrible. We were able to get in quick as no one was there. From start to finish it was a total of 10 minutes. Water was cold, they didn't talk to us at all, the paint was not at all what I wanted.
I won't go there again at all!
First and last time coming here! When a woman goes to get her nails done, they expect to relax and unwind. So yes it's a little annoying when she keeps telling you to relax your hand. Made me feel like I was the problem.
I should have read reviews before coming. Ya live and learn! 🙄
I went in there today and was quoted 15 minute wait for a pedicure. I ended up waiting closer to 25 minutes. I was in the pedicure chair for maybe 18 minutes. My callus on my heels weren't even touched. The whole reason I go in for pedicures. The foot/leg massage maybe a minute and was more like rubbing lotion in and moving on. I have been to this place before and pleased with the service. However, with my experience today I will not be returning. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Tom and Yao have the only customer service skills in that joint. But when Tom did my nails, they didn't last very long. So giving him the benefit of the doubt because I like his personality, I returned 2 weeks later. Oh gosh! Not a good experience. I am allergic to dogs and so I didn't like that. Probably not sanitary. Seemed like the female tech who did my pedicure polished my toes and then massaged because I asked her if she planned to. Most would massage first so as not to mess up the polish. Then the pregnant tech was beyond terrible. Omg! Since I was the only customer in there, I asked her 3 times if she could switch the documentary to CNN and she just ignored me. Homegirl had an attitude. At other salons, before applying a gel base I would always get a coat of a polish that was to protect my nail bed. Oh no, this lady just put the gel directly on my nails. When I put it under for 15 seconds after the first coat, I asked if I should do it longer because I worried that short times under the light were the cause of them not lasting long the previous time. This prego lady got all mad at me and so Yao had to come and translate. Now I know this prego lady understands English. Anyway. So she does the french tip color and I tell her how I like it after the 3rd nail cuz she didnt bother to ask me. Terrible terrible service. I had to ask her if she should do a gentle file to the ends like Im used to after they are done and then she got mad when I asked her for oil for my cuticles, which is usually standard. My bill came to $60 and she charged me $64.20. I was like, "I thought you said it was $60." Then she called the lady with dog to come cancel it out. That lady kinda blamed me saying I should have remembered that they charge a surcharge for using credit cards from when Tom did my nails 2 weeks ago. Really? Lol. What a joke! DO NOT GO TO THIS GHETTO SALON! Waste of money. But Tom is great!!!
This was my first time there. A nail tech named Yao helped me. She was very professional, fast and efficient.
I went in looking for a relaxing manicure and pedicure I saw this place and was initially delighted that it wasn't busy! As I walked out almost as fast as my service began, I realized it's simply because they have horrible people skills. The woman was just filing my nails and apparently I can't hold my own hand right as she kept hitting my hands with the nail file and her hand then telling me "to relax." After her telling me that I "wasn't trying hard enough" and telling me to show her my finger (Unfortunately my mind reading was turned off because I still don't know which one she meant.)Don't waste your time or money by going here. These people have horrible customer service. I wouldn't recommend this place at all!
My friend and I visited this salon in March of 2016 and loved it. We decided to go back last Friday (1/20/17) and it was such an awful experience. First off, you are greeted by a barking dog. Although it is a small dog, it still seems very unprofessional. Not to mention, I like to relax during my pedicure, and I don't find constant dark barking the slightest bit relaxing. Also, while getting the pedicure I get whiff of poop. My friend pointed out the the doggy potty training pads spread out behind the chairs covered in urine and feces. IT WAS DISGUSTING!!! It took everything in me to not stand up and leave that instant. I find it incredibly unprofessional, unpleasant and dirty on many levels. I would think this has to be some sort of heath code violation? Even though the staff was friendly, I could never bring myself to go there again. Needless to say, I was disappointed in my second visit to this salon and I will not be returning and I would not recommend this salon to anyone.
