Thinking about going to school here? Don’t. They really screw you over on the price of the school. I was promised a scholarship from the school and the day before I graduated I was told They weren’t going to give it to me? And they wouldn’t let me graduate after all my work there, and going to school for 1,600 hours. Pick a different school. I promise.

I love this place! I've been coming here for years for all of my colors, cuts, and scalp/conditioning treatments. They are students, so expect to spend some time here, no matter what you get done, but it is well worth the wait! I have a TON of hair to work with, and I have never had a bad experience.

At first at was really skeptical because they’re all students and I’ve heard so many horror stories about haircuts at hair schools, but every single time I’ve loved what they’ve done to my hair. The girls are really professional, they ask for help when needed, and they listen to what you want. They’re really confident and they know what they’re doing. The only downside is that they’re still working on their timing so it would take over an hour to get a haircut and style. But, if you don’t mind staying at the salon for a while, and you want your hair to look amazing, and you’re on a budget, This is the best place to go!

This is probably the best hair salon I've been too! I was able to get in without an appointment. I didn't have to wait at all. As soon as I checked in, I was taken directly to the back to get started on my hair. My hair dresser was awesome! She offered me drinks and was very attentive. The main instructor also came over and helped me decide on a color. They were both very detailed in explaining what the final product would look like. By what i've experienced, this hair salon is great! I highly recommend for anyone to check this place out! It's great!

Definitely one of the better student salons I've visited. Students listen to what you want (at least the 3 that I've met) and instructors don't talk over you when you're explaining to them either (an unfortunate experience I have at most other student salons). The only thing to be aware of is the time: plan on 2 hours for a haircut. BUT it's for a good cause. Eventually you'll find someone that you'd love to have as a go to stylist.

This is a top notch salon. Lindsay cut my hair and she was not only great at her job, but also very personable! I truly enjoyed my time here and will definitely recommend this place to all of my friends! Thank you so much! I will be back soon :)

I was so happy with our experience here! My 8 year old daughter wanted braids in her hair for the summer. The student and director were so accommodating and did a great job! I appreciate how well they treated my daughter and also was fair on price. Thanks!!

They cut it too short (like, 4 inches too short) and would not listen to/did not understand what I wanted. I was excited right after getting it cut, now I'm just really upset. Not the look I wanted, I feel like I have to go get it fixed. They did a great job with my friends' hair though. And they took their time trying to doing my hair right (to no avail). I appreciated the honest effort.

I attended Taylor Andrews as a transfer student after my previous school had closed, and it is by far the best decision I could have made. I only had a few hundred hours left and in the short time I attended Taylor Andrews I learned more then I did in my school prior. The staff are amazing and go above and beyond to help you feel confident going into your profession! Taylor Andrews even has a class that preps you for your state board and I found that to be SO helpful!
One of my favorite things about this school is even though I was nearly finished with my hours and did not have to much longer to go, the instructors still took the time to help me in areas I was not the most confident and to me that was very important and meaningful. I have truly learned so much at this school and could not have asked for a better experience.
Taylor Andrews offers so many extra opportunities that other schools don't offer. such as guest artists, competitions, school trips and extra classes.
I highly recommend Taylor Andrews for your school of choice if you are thinking of becoming a student in the industry. They couldn't be more welcoming and accepting. The students are very kind as well. I worried about being a transfer student and not knowing anyone and feeling out of my element, but everyone is so welcoming and made it such an easy transition, Best school experience ever!

I have been coming here for years and years and I have never been to a better place. They help me so much and listen to what I want done as opposed to their own ideas. The people are so kind and nice and I am so grateful that I have this place! I don't know what I'll do when I move!!
