Excellent steaks, good service. Soft seating in pub area and wood chairs in dining room. You can eat in both areas.

This place is a hidden gem! I've driven by probably a hundred times on my way up North or downstate, but never stopped in. I veered from normal on my last drive and I'm glad I did! They have an amazing menu with even better prices! It was a dreary Sunday afternoon, but Char took excellent care of my girlfriend and I. The prime rib was cooked to perfection! Can't wait to swing through on my next travel North!

First off food and service were positively excellent! My wife and i arrived for dinner with my grandparents and daughter at four. A gentleman helped us find our party, then before we even sat down the waiter was there, ready to take our drink orders. Great environment, very relaxed. Waiter checked in on us regularly, and once we did order, the appetizer soups were served in a few short minutes (French onion, delicious). Our daughters food was brought out as soon as it was done. The food for the rest of the party was served in a very, VERY timely fashion. Two different steaks, a burger, chicken tenders (daughter, and a sandwich. Everything was absolutely delectable.
The fantastic waiter cleared all finished dishes, kept our drinks refilled, and never forgot a thing. Everyone enjoyed the food immensely, kudos to the kitchen. Compliments to the chef!! The waiter assured us of no rush, and was very polite and nice. Made for a wonderful experience.
Overall, a little hard to find and the tip was WELL deserved. Would HIGHLY recommend going here for any occasion.response / report this review -

It is nice for the area. The outdoor patio is nice. The food is decent and the drinks aren't priced too bad. The service is friendly.

Love this place. From the atmosphere to the staff to the food, everything is top tier excellent. We come here when we travel through the Cadillac area several times a year. We order something different every time and have never been disappointed.

Discovered when looking for a different place for dinner. Very happy we did. Finer dining experience with a casual feel. Very good food with great service and view of the lake.

This restaurant is kind of hidden from the main road, but it has good food and works well for large groups (with reservation). The food and service have always been good. In winter, parking can be a little tight, but you can usually find a spot.
