Very nice. There are places at the park that are extremely scenic and beautiful. Sites are a little close quarters but are a nice value and managed by helpful staff. Access to the Straits is just across the road, and while there is not a beach persay, it's very pleasant to sit near. Bridge is in site of the park from beach side. Shower and bathroom facilities are accommodating, although in need of a bit of cosmetic renovation and higher cleanliness. Does not detract from the overall experience. Very, very quiet and comfortable. Convenient location to all the usual attractions.

Excellent campground! Small with only 40 or 50 sites which all face Lake Michigan. Facilities were top notch. A lot of very big late model class A's. Few if any permanent sites. Direct access to the lake. Quiet. Nice showers and restrooms. Good wifi throughout.

It was a very nice park with all 30 amp and water hook up, no sewer. You could see the lake and walking around the park was very nice. The sites are not paved and it had just rained so we had a few puddles but over all our site was dry. They have a laundry room and bathroom house. I didn't need to use either so I didn't go into the bathroom house but, the laundry room seemed nice. They put a list on the office door of names and which site you are assigned to for those who arrived after hours. I would definitely stay there if I come through the area again. I forgot to mention that the office staff were very courteous and helpful!

Shame on the irresponsible owner!!! The Lakeshore RV Campground experienced a severe thunderstorm, which resulted in loss of power and water. Due to the severity of this storm, as a tenant, I expected the owner to not only be available to respond to any urgent campground situations, I expected her at the very least, to be on the grounds to communicate any updates on power being restored. That was not the case. She abandoned the campground, leaving us without power, water, resources to call (her phone wasn't working), without any information or assistance. This was completely irresponsible on her part, to leave the campground during its need. We left a note on the office door, asking for her to communicate with us about power restoration. When she returned from having dinner in town, she was miffed that we left the note! The fees we paid to camp there were for nothing, no service. I would never recommend this campground to anyone. Shame on the owner for her irresponsible behavior.

Great location! They did not have soap in the bathrooms, but everything else was okay. They are not directly on the lake but have a nice view of it. I was there in May, and the flies (whatever they are called) were pretty bad. I would recommend this campground to a friend.
