They don't give clubhouse for rent to current residents, even though they have a clubhouse. Rents are high and facilities are worst. Zero star Rating. Management need to understand the needs of residents and change their policies. Showpiece resources, you can't use it. Only to attract new tenants.
The interior of our unit was very modern and updated. Washer and Dryer included in the unit. Even though we were living above and next to a few neighbors, we hardly ever heard them because of the good insulation. A few times with windows open, the business park behind the neighborhood could get pretty loud including some bikers that liked to go back there. Also the lighting on those buildings was very bright and shined into our unit causing us to get black out blinds. Perfectly fine after that. Plenty of space and the vaulted ceilings made it feel even larger. The exterior of the unit was well kept with plenty of lighting. We lived close to some trees and shrubs so it felt close to nature. The rest of the neighborhood is pretty sterile but will look nicer when the trees mature more. I dislike the way they organized the sidewalks and would prefer to have more of a circuit. The way sidewalks are set up forces people to walk in the middle of the street at all hours of the day including myself, which makes it hard for drivers and dangerous to pedestrians. The pool is excellent and hardly ever crowded although a hot tub would be a good addition. I am not sure why they took down the trees in the BBQ/hangout area but we stopped going there after that as it didn’t feel as nice. The workout center should have a mat for people to do sit up’s and other exercises and could definitely be bigger and have more weights. Our unit was a 5 min walk to the newly renovated Meijer which is a huge perk. Also in the same plaza was Panera, Jimmy John’s, and a few other restaurants which was great. Also, driving 2 minutes to several stores like Target and Aldi and many more shops. It was nice being close to downtown (15-20 min drive) but also close to Greenwood (10-15 min drive). If you want to walk everywhere though, then I would recommend finding somewhere in Broadripple instead. Most places you have to drive. If you like local shops, this is also not the place for you since most of the area is national chains and brands. The area felt very safe and we felt comfortable leaving our door unlocked when out for a couple hours, granted we had a camera just in case. Finally, the maintenance was very fast and fixed any problem I had within the day while I was at work typically. The staff knew us by name and would have packages ready for us seeing us walk up to the office which was awesome. The price was a little pricey but only increased 5 or 10 per year which is reasonable considering the market. Overall a great place to stay and bittersweet to move on to our new house.
Didn't live here but have friends here and they always say good things about this apartment. For the plus side it is new and very clean community. Apartments have all the available options and they take care of the maintenance requests promptly. Great lake views and well maintained play area for kids. Next to Meijer.
Ok, not bad. Have seen power outage and water maintenance issues couple of times. It's an issue for people who stay at home during the day.
They usually take time to do maintenance.
Staff are ok.
Over all 2.5/5
Hey Fiona aerials Southside church ghost
We just had our carpet cleaned and we were so happy with the results. Everything this home community does is always top notch. We only need to request once.
Lakes of Windsor is the best place to live!!
