We rented the 3 bedroom suite. Really nice place stocked with plenty of towels and kitchen items. Main room has a tv and dvd player with lots of movies.

Cute and cozy rooms right on the lake with fantastic views and a private balcony. Upon arrival, room smelled like burnt firewood, but that's due to the in room fireplace, which is a wonderful amenity. Free coffee and granola bars are a nice addition. The owner is very friendly. We would stay here again.

Cuter than I expected it to be; well-decorated and pleasantly "boutique-y", with a good view of the wisp ski resort. Thought it was an excellent value. Each room spans the entire width of the building, which means every room gets a good view. They provided a free duralog for our use ($5 per additional, if desired). Free Keurig coffee and tea in the mornings, as well as breakfast bars. Seems like it was recently renovated, and is nice and clean in the rooms and bathrooms. The only knock on this place is that whenever someone shuts a door or some kids run around in their room, you can hear/feel the vibrations. This happened a lot the first, busier night; couldn't sleep well. Second night with earplugs in, I slept just fine (I think the kids were gone).

Lakestar lodge is a beautiful quant little place right at the entrance if deep Creek. It's nice and quiet and out of the main steam, but still close enough to walk to eat, ride go-karts. The rooms are so lovely with views that take your breathe away. I definitely would recommend, they have wine available at the front desk for purchase, fire pits in the back, it's right on the water, there is also a kitchen with breakfast, free drinks, coffee, wonderful little place at an extremely affordable price. I am very picky about hotels and this passed with flying colors for me!!

LakeStar Lodge is a charming little hotel right on Deep Creek Lake. The rooms are very nice, have a microwave and a refrigerator, cable, and a comfy bed. Beautiful lakefront views, fire pits, picnic tables, and plenty of Adirondack chairs. I definitely recommend it and would absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful location, accommodations, and staff. Walls are a bit thin, so you can hear your neighbors, but otherwise great.

Stayed in a so-called "upgraded" room with a fireplace, since that was all that was available. The fireplace was a useless waste of space in an already small room, especially so in the summertime. There was no place to put suitcases, very limited hanging space, and no drawer space. Bathroom contained a trendy pedestal sink that had enough room to hold the typical hotel-sized soap bar, but nothing else. In short, there were many triumphs of form over function.

On the plus side, the room was quiet despite the property's close proximity to US 219. The plumbing was modern, and delivered hot water when needed. View of the lake was several cuts above what one expects from a roadside motel. Staff was courteous.

Stayed in the 3 bedroom suite for one night. The suite was phenomenal; spacious, comfortable, and came with a great view of the lake and the ski slopes. Only complaint about the room was that the two small window ac units could not keep up with the heat. That being said; the outdoor temp was cool in the evenings and combined with the cool lake breeze and many windows the ac proved to be a minor inconvenience. The staff were very friendly and even helped us hook up to the Wi-Fi and get apps working on the smart tv in the suite. Overall this is a great hotel for the price and location and I certainly plan on coming back with my family.
