This has been our favorite place to stay each year at this time but disappointed with decline in customer comfort. Kitchen not well stocked (no drinking glasses, substandard coffee etc.). Bathroom paper products of inferior quality. Advertised made to order omelets for breakfast but discontinued and no longer available. Locked out of room before regular checkout time. Usual high, Hyatt standards @ this location, seem to be lacking. Personnel friendly & attentive but still very disappointed in overall environment.

Overall the hotel was clean and comfortable. The free breakfast could use some other choices although the omlette station was very good. The rooms were spacious and my only complaint was the limited choices for TV stations. Other than that I would stay here again when in town.

This place was just ok. For the price I was expecting this place to be pretty nice but it was worn down. The beds were not comfortable and the heat went out around midnight. The unit was blowing out cold air and it was around 40 degrees outside. We were freezing! Maintenance came pretty quick and told us in about 30 minutes it would warm up. Finally after 1am it was working. I had to be up early so the the interrupted sleep and now having a sore throat because of the heat issue and sleeping on a crappy bed is not what I had in mind for some much needed R&R! The positives: how quick maintenance came, the stocked kitchen and two separate rooms. Will never stay here again.

Absolutely lovely place!
Stayed there for 5 nights, had to check-in at 2 AM, but there were no complaints from the staff. Everyone at reception is so friendly. Had some problems with my bank and John and Kelley were helping me for day and a half.
Breakfasts are amazing. The neighborhood is beautiful and there is a market in a walking distance.
Totally recommend!
Hope to visit again some time!

Very fair price. Could be a little cleaner inside, but overall very pleasant stay. Front desk was very nice with great customer service. Very fast check-in. Nice outdoor basketball court in the middle. A lot of good food options nearby.

The rooms are clean and spacious but need a little upgrade because the interiors are not modern. The complimentary breakfast spread looks nice, but doesn't taste all that great- they have an omlette bar where you can make your own omelette or get the omelette of the day, this guy makes nice omelette. The buffet usually has scrambled eggs, bacon, fruits, yogurt, cereal, a variety of milk, juices and coffee. They have an outside dinning area by the pool.. There's a grill for guests to use. A very small swimming pool and play area. All in all you pay what you get for- we weren't short of anything.

Good customer service. They fixed the noisy bathroom door and the tiny cra h through which ants were coming into our suite as soon as I had called the front desk. Housekeeping was super nice.

This place is perfect and very accommodating. Facilities are slightly aged but rooms are generally excellent. I would highly recommend.

I am just beginning an extended stay at Hyatt House, and I like my experience so far. The front desk staff answered my questions during check-in, and my suite is comfortable. There are TVs in each room and the kitchen has basic cooking tools and dishes. There's also a full-sized fridge and a dishwasher. Breakfast is provided and there is a grocery store within walking distance. I don't know the area very well so I'm not sure what else of note is nearby. I have some minor complaints, but nothing that negatively impacts the quality of my stay. One of the light fixtures is slightly damaged, and use of the laundry facilities isn't included in the price (except for one load a month). Overall, I think this is a good hotel and I look forward to spending a significant part of the summer here.

Breakfast was a bit lacking in vegetarian selections. Room was decently sized for family of 3. Nice to have TVs in both main room and bedroom. Lots of storage space. The hotel is also reasonably close to the Shady Grove Metro station.

Very impressed so far. We have a family king suite and are halfway through a 7 night stay. Room was very clean, much better than the pictures I saw before booking. Staff has been very nice and the shuttle to the metro is great. I would definitely stay here again! Highly recommended! :)
