This is what is meant by creating a family tradition..spending a few hours walking amongst a beautiful landscape surrounded by beautiful trees. Hearing other families laughing as the person laying on the ground saws away. Kids yelling that they found the "perfect one".
And the staff of tree runners zipping around to help you..and without hesitation grabbing your tree and carefully hauling it back to be shaken clean and wrapped up right.
That's a tradition built.
Its not often that you feel like your business is appreciated and you get value for your money.

We've been taking our kids here to cut down a Christmas tree since they were babies. Never had a bad experience!

Nice trees! Nice People! Beautiful surroundings! $55 for a hayride to the field, you pick your tree, cut it down with a saw they loan you. They shake off loose needles and bundle it up, carts are available to get them to your car. Was very crowded on 12/5/2015 but they are very efficient. Apparently they are very popular! Cash only or use their onsite ATM. Not sure what the ATM charges. Made a family fun day out of it including the ride out from Pittsburgh. They have reasonably priced snacks. I'm not affiliated with them at all I just really liked it and thought I would share my experience.
