Delicious food, great coffee, and typically great service. This is a regular stop on my trips out to the Pittsburgh area. I have bad luck always getting bad service even at reputable restaurants and this place has consistently been the opposite. They have a variety of waffles from savory to sweet including a specialty waffle that changes monthly. Depending on what time of the day and what day you go, sometimes they can be really busy, but they are normally quick to seat you, take orders, and bring you your food. There have been plenty of times that we had our choice of seating as well. Unfortunately, I have felt forgotten about a few times when I have gone during peak hours, but the restaurant industry can be demanding and things happen. Overall, I definitely recommend. Oh! As a bonus, they serve beer at certain times.

Carnivore Omelet is stuffed with so much meaty goodness and the Home Fries are simply to die for. Love this place & visit often. The sausage gravy & waffles is delicious too (my other favorite).

Dude. This place is amazing! The food is delicious and the staff is great! If you come for breakfast on a Sunday morning, you can expect a little bit of a wait. But that's normal! Great omelettes, great waffles, and just all around great food! Nothing bad to say about this place! 10/10 would recommend

While the name implies breakfast, this place is so much more! Sure they have waffles, but the breakfast tacos are superb as are the BLTs. The staff is great, and while the wait might be a bit longer than you'd expect at times, it's 100% worth it. Stop in and check out this great addition to the BEAVER strip!

Awesome breakfast place! Many options other than waffles but the waffles are great as well. Good portion sides and decent prices. The service was quick and punctual. I would definitely return.

The food here is really good. When they were still in New Brighton, I used to order the Specialist Maher and it was delicious. That is no longer on the menu, but there are plenty of other options, whether you want a waffle or something else. I highly recommend the breakfast tacos. The Beaver location is right on the main drag in downtown and parking is on the street, but easy enough to find. There are more tables at this location than there were in New Brighton, and if you come any other time than a weekend morning, you usually don't have to wait to be seated.

You can't go wrong with Waffles! Everything on the menu is fantastic. There is usually a pretty decent wait on a Saturday, which is expected, but the service and food is so worth it. Went for dinner a few weeks ago and I want to highly recommend their loaded home fries. You can't beat the price and they offer burgers, beer, and a limited waffle selection when open in the evening.

It is a good waffle, but prices a little high for the quality. There is variety, though. The service is good, and they are usually pretty quick about seating you. The environment is very open with the kitchen visible and so it can be very noisy at times, making light conversation difficult. If you don't like the crowded feeling and it is a nice morning there is seating outside.

Waffles has excellent food and friendly staff. It is NOT fast but it is worth the wait. The home fries will rock your socks off! The eggs are cooked to perfection. They now serve beer, if you like that sort of thing.
It is a little pricey (but worth it) and we ALWAYS smell like grease when we leave. They do have outdoor seating when the weather is nice.response / report this review -

A popular breakfast location that is well worth the wait. A diverse menu with options but waffles are their specialty. Chicken and waffles are spectacular and their vast variety of toppings and fillings will always tempt you at a custom dessert crepe no matter how full you are. Use the "No Wait" app to get your name in prior to arriving for faster seating.
