Went to visit a loved one. Treated very rudely by staff. Very unprofessional people working there. Made my husband go back to car to change into longer shorts because his knees showedd when he sat down. Said it was policy not to have your knees showing when you sat. We were both frisked before our visit. Never had to do this at Lorain Correctional. Got yelled at by a guard because I used two paper plates instead of one for my inmates food. Very rude and sad place. Staff is horrible.

Typical prison so don't expect much or ull def b disappointed. I do like the visitation rules tho. Much easier then MansCI IMHO.

I went to visit my boyfriend 11/19/2016 he was finally sent to the prison he would spend the rest of his sentence at. This was the WORST.first u have a two 1/2 hour visit that turns into a hour because you go through all the grooling measures they take for "security purposes"once there I was talking to a lady there for a visit and she warned me of the ion scan!!!it is used to detect illegal illecit traces of drugs of course I drive all the way from Cleveland to conneut Ohio to see him an I test positive humiliated I didn't have anything illegal nor have I touched anything illegal all my time an money and effort gone and the worst I didn't get to hug my boyfriend over a false positive people let's complain until They change something. I had to sit behind a glass to see him and this broke both of our hearts
