You cannot just call the store, IMPOSSIBLE and ANNOYING, BUY A PC and avoid the control issues with APPLE. Their online genius bar scheduling is nearly impossible and beware of hitting any button as it will not give you any confirmations it will just cancel your appointment with no verification or options to adjust or change. VERY CLUNKY and OUTDATED system for scheduling any service appointment.
Not impressed with the lack of customer service. I guess when people start switching to Android, then they will recognize. If I'm paying for top of the line product, i expect at least decent service. If i want Walmart or McDonald's customer service, that's what I will pay for. If that's the service I'm going to get, that's where I will go.
Spent over 9 hours at this store attempting to fix a problem that one of the managers at the store started when they issued us a replacement phone that didn't work. We have been with Apple products exclusively for over 20 years. We have never experienced such poor customer service until we recently went to this store on two occasions. This store has poorly trained employees and the managers are completely incompetent. After spending 9 hours in and out of the store on a Saturday we walked away realizing that this store absolutely discriminates against certain customers. They were openly mocking certain customers and laughing about one line excuses that they had come up with that are over people heads. Their favorite line to use is "Unfortunately our systems won't allow us to do that, we really wish we could help you though". We witnessed this type of behavior happen consistently throughout the day. They made comments suggesting that because of peoples appearance or ethnicity they would never be able to afford certain devices. How is this stuff happening openly in a store and it's 2017? You would think Apple of all places would understand the importance of training their employees on workplace discrimination.
I tried calling the Polaris store to speak to a representative however Apple doesn't allow you to speak directly to a store rep their automated phone system keeps routing me to people who cannot answer a question about their Polaris store.. Last Saturday I scheduled a repair for my son's iPhone screen on Sunday. We arrive early and they were unable to assist us because they had too many phones. They tell us to come back within five days. I'm just trying to save some time and call ahead so we don't get to the store and they tell us again they are too busy to fix the phone. Poor customer experience.
Love a little retail therapy at Polaris along with a visit to the Apple store to get an update on using my Mac better! Don't miss Alterd State by the way, my favorite women's apparel stop, uplifting and refreshing!
I spent well over $2000 on an iMac. 5 years later the hard drive and video card both die. Seems like a steep price for a computer that barely lasted 5 years. The technical support was a mess. No one knows the price of anything even when they have the computer in front of them and taken apart. Too many arrogant people working there.
Made an appointment for my MacBook Pro because the screen turned a bunch of different colors then went black and would not turn back on. When I got to the store, after waiting 45 minutes to be seen, the computer turned back on (of course). I asked the Apple "genius" to run a diagnostic to see what was causing the screen to go black. Finally the computer was diagnosed as a battery issue. She took it into the back for about 20 minutes, brought it back out and told me I had an option to buy a new battery for $129.00. Fair. so I asked her, because she's the genius, if she personally thinks I should get another battery. She told me no. She said the computer still has 2-6 months to live wirelessly and then after that I will have to eventually keep it plugged in at all times. I asked her if the computer was going to go black again because I can not afford to miss more class time to drive out a hour and a half away to come back. She said she believes it should not and that it was very strange it did that in the first place. I said okay and agreed to not get a new battery. In the meantime, this woman is trying to sell me on a new laptop. Mentioning how I can finance it and how these newer laptops are much better. I told her no I'm not interested and left the store. The next day comes and the computer's screen is black.. HELLO, This is not a coincidence, something is wrong with the computer and they did not take the time to diagnose it! I've now been on the phone with apple all morning and the outcome is to drive back to the Apple Store (which, again, is a hour and a half away) to drop it off and pick it up in 3 days. I asked them if they could compensate me for my time and leading me to false conclusions and they said no.
I will be going to the Easton Apple Store from now on. I am very loyal to Apple, but they clearly need better employees with more training at their Polaris location.
Don't even bother with this location. Today was the third time I've come here and been unable to get any device support. They always tell me they can't help with my device right now because their "genius bar" is too busy. The staff seem overwhelmed and eager to turn people away, so they clearly need to hire more help.
Edit: Finally got in to see somebody about my problem and they barely even looked at the computer before trying to push me into buying a new one. The "genius" kept talking over me and putting words in my mouth, and the dude trying to help with financing was completely useless.
Got a MacBook from here before and love it. Went in today to get an iPad mini and was told I should wait for the new "relaunch" (which isn't even confirmed) in about 2 months. Won't be going back.
Absolutely horrible service. I scheduled a genius bar appointment 2 days in advance. My appointment was for 2:40 and waited 45 minutes to even be spoken to. While I waited, I sat and watched people walk in the store with no appointment and get help immediately. I am pretty sure you can get assistance quicker without an appointment. Pathetic.
Horrible customer service, I usually go to the Easton mall store, but this is the first time I have ever been this is store; the Apple genius technician doesn't understand or want to hear the issue that you have with your phone. I kept telling him I have apple care and show him proof that I have apple care. I spend more than five hours at the store to diagnose my phone and they keep telling me there is nothing wrong with your phone. The store manager also agrees with tech. I Left the sore and when to the Easton store they found the problem and they fix my phone within 30 minutes.
I went into the Apple Store with a problem and a story that I would have had a hard time believing. The manager who introduced himself as "Bald" Brian, took care of me with no problems. First rate customer service.
I went in for my daughters cracked screen. Til called first was quoted 4 different prices. The first price was 100. The the today 129. Over the phone. I got there and Jamie said the phone was 149 to be fixed. Now I'm no phone expert but I would think that if you are unsure of the price you would check it. No one knows anything here. You talk to one person the price to fix the phone screen could be 200. This place is a zoo. And they are all monkeys.
I needed a new phone. The representative didn't want to bother wth me since he was waiting for another customer to return. Then, he didn't arrange for my new phone to be set up. Instead, he told me how to do it at home. I spent over an hour on this and what he told me did not work. Now, I have to drive back to the store and begin where he left off.
His other customer did not return
Sitting in the store after waiting 1 hour and 20 min. I walked in at 7:10pm and setup an appointment for phone battery check. Given a wait time of 1 hour and 10 minutes. It's now 1 hour and 40 min and still no service. Turns out that when I checked in the specialist didn't check me in and the system decided to skip over me. Everytime I come here it's an hour + wait even with an appointment made online. I get far better service going to the carrier store just down the hall. The manager tried to claim that i didn't check in except that I did and the specialist indicated that he did check me in. Management's first assumption should not be to blame the customer. Now she's attending to someone else who just walked up instead of attending to me. Couldn't give them zero stars.
