We had an excellent experience using Lake effect restoration. Our basement flooded when the power went out and the sump pump backed up just before Christmas 2021. Travis responded immediately. His team provided service by cleaning and sanitizing the entire unfinished basement over the weekend. They hooked up a temporary generator until the power came back on 5 days later. We gave Travis and his team full access to our home while we were away. I would not hesitate to use Lake Effect Restoration again. They are trustworthy, experienced, easy to work with and, by the way, did an amazing job! Thanks again!

Mold was found during a home inspection associated with the sale of our cottage and we had a tight timeline to get the mold tested and remediated. We contacted Travis at Lake Effect Restoration and found him to be knowledgeable and responsive throughout the process and even helped us by referring reliable contractors to complete the repairs after the mold remediation. We were very happy with the project, especially with the aggressive timeline to meet our close date.

We had a shower leak in our upstairs that we didn’t know about until too late. Travis was able to come a couple hours after I called, assessed the situation, helped to remove the damaged ceiling/walls, set up fans to dry out what he could, and helped us find a plumber to come fix the leak while he was still there so they could work together! He has taken all of the work out of the process for us, working with our adjuster directly and we couldn’t be happier. Travis is trustworthy, patient in explaining what he is doing to someone who isn’t familiar with construction, thorough in documenting the demolition and reconstruction process, and probably one of the hardest workers I have ever seen. He stopped by multiple times during the drying out process over the course of a week to make sure things were going well. You won’t go wrong in hiring him for any job you need!
