The last four dogs me and my husband have had have gone to Lakeside. I always felt as if they only enjoyed my dogs as puppy's they never paid much attention as they got older no thank you cards, and no calls after appointments. Within this last two years I have paid over 4000 for both my dogs. One was a puppy and quickly after paying for first shots had to have surgery after swallowing a t bone, the second was a three year old golden who we paid 2,500 for knee surgery and then had a terrible skin condition after swimming in a lake.
This doesn't include the normal check ups. This evening however my dog had a allergic reaction not a little one either, both of her eyes were swollen shut and her face was swollen she had a rash all over her body, and her tongue was dry and swollen too. We dont know if it a snakebite or to a new flea medicine we tried don't know. So I gave her three Benadryl and washed her fur then decided to call their after hours number at 9:04 she answered and proceeded to say it was after nine so she wasn't going to be come in I live five minutes from this vet however after evening I will be pulling both my dogs records and looking for a new vet. They aren't true animal lovers.response / report this review -

We have always taken our pets here and the front desk staff are always very helpful. The veterinarian is always helpful and doesn't seem in such a rush to get the "patients" out as compared to others. I had her teeth cleaned here professionally recently, and I am extremely satisfied with the results. I never would have thought a cleaning would make this much of a difference. I highly recommend this vet office.

This is the BEST establishment in our area!!!!! Hands down! I have been with them for as long as I can remember 8+ years! I've had 10-12 animals at any given time in their care and I have never been disappointed!!!!!They have always gone above and beyond to help me or my animals!!! They have made house calls and gone out of their way to assist me in anyway i needed to care for animals!!! One example was recently one of my animal was dx. with Ca and I had to put him down. The support and concern was like that of a family. I can say that I have never come across anyone that I didn't trust and all have gone above my expectations of what a CARING vet practice should be. I have benefited from their knowledge, advice,after-hours care,and up to date facility and equipment. They receive all five of my stars in review and I appreciate all that they have done for our family!!! If it sounds like I love these folks, I do!

Everyone I have encountered was super friendly as well as knowledgeable. I felt safe and secure bringing my dogs there. Their prices were very reasonable as well. So far I haven't had any issues with them.
