  Finally, a visitor center that also includes a place for our dogs! There's a large dog and a small dog area, both fenced-in and well enough maintained. Places for humans to sit, no shade. Poo bags provided but bring your own water.

  Surprise dog park!!!! So much fun! It was a great welcome to North Carolina. No lights, bring your own water and only partial grass (we visited in November) but provided poop bags and a great space to run! I will be saving this place and returning!

  Nice little visitors center for the area. Clean bathrooms. The really nice thing is the large sized dog park / run that they have here. Great if you're driving along I-95 and fido needs a run!

  Terrific stop off Rt 95 in NC, especially if you have a dog. Visitors center has clean dog park. There are picnic tables just outside fencing so you can eat your lunch (many food establishments at this exit) while your dog stretches his legs. The women inside visitors center were extremely helpful and sweet.

  Stopped by here on our way up north. They had a great dog park for our little schnoodle. Absolutely loved spending time here. One of the ladies in the visitor center even brought him a few treats. We'll definitely be back the next time we're traveling through!

  Dog park is so convenient! They have separate small and large dog parks as well as water and bowls. Definitely a great find!
