Writing a positive review about a dealership is a rare thing. Overby Marine is definitely the exception to the rule. My wife and I had a Supra prior to owning a Centurion. We purchased our Supra from a dealership from Charlotte, and were never pleased with the service from either the dealership or the manufacturer. We decided to take some wakesurfing lessons from wakesurf nc and we experienced our first Enzo SV244. The boat was amazing, and we immediately decided that we needed to start looking at selling our Supra and buying a Centurion. Joe and Caroline Overby run the business, and from the beginning it was a great change from our previous experiences at other dealerships. Low pressure. Very eager to take plenty of time with us to show us the boats and to run numbers. And they knew we weren't going to be buying that day (or at all, for that matter). They took time to build the relationship (a skill underappreciated by many other dealers- it is not always about the 'now'). And later that year when we sold our Supra, Joe helped us facilitate the sale with little to no cost. At the same time we ordered a custom Enzo SV233. This was back in Feb/March of 2013. The boat arrived, was perfectly prepped, and rode like a dream. We had some early issues with the boat, which will often happen for something that is made from components from dozens of suppliers, and Joe quickly took care of every problem with a smile. You often hear that when you buy a boat, you are also buying it with the dealership. That is very true. It can make or break a boat experience, and if you are shopping other centurion dealerships, you will definitely want to keep this in mind. Joe is a regular contributor to a centurion user forum, giving free advice, and has helped me countless times when I needed some advise. I centurion wakesurf boats on the lake more than any other boat now because of the excellence of Overby Marine's service and support.

We now have 230 hours on our boat, over 2 years after purchase, and I honestly don't think it would feel right to buy a boat from any other dealer. I have referred many people, including relatives, to Joe and Caroline without reservation.

One other thing This marina is really stocked with high quality stuff, including Phase 5 surfboards and fat sac supplies. We've been very pleased how competitive Joe and Carolina are with their gear pricing.

Went one afternoon and looked at a boat, got home and discussed it with the family and we agreed to purchase itcalled them later that afternoon to discuss purchasing and they were closed. So I went to their website that same night, sent them an e-mail and told them we wanted the boat, even left him the option to call me and I would put a deposit on it to hold it until I could get there 2 days later to pay and pick it up. The very next morning I called the store and spoke to the general manager and owner's son, Joe. I told him again, if I needed to put a deposit on it I would and I also had two boats of ours he could look at if he was interested in taking a trade. They were both online for him to view, he was going to look at them and call me back. I never got a return call, so 3 hours later I called him back and he told me he had taken a deposit on the boat already and the boat was sold. This is no way to treat a customer. I will never purchase anything from them again due to this incident. I spoke to the marina owner about it, he didn't care, his reply was.."in this business its all about money and who gets it here first, you missed out, sorry."

Also, this afternoon I looked at the boat online and he had jacked the price up an additional $500 from where it was the prior day.
