Came for happy hour, greeted and seated promptly. Sat, sat some more, watched a server bring food to a table, leave and return to check on them. A group of 4 was seated. A waitress attended to them twice. You see where this is going? The manager came by (empty-handed) to apologize. Still no order, so we left. No shortage of great places to try, that welcome us completely. Imagine this is why The Knick sits empty.

Friendly waiters, good service, food was impeccable. Fresh food. Would recommend smoked salmond eggs benny.🎉 My brunch taste buds have never been so delighted.

Loved brunch! Food was fantastic. Many traditional dishes and some with updated twists. Interesting drink list. Wait staff was available, but not intrusive. Cannot wait to go back!

The Kinck is always consistent and delicious. I have never had a bad meal or service. Nor have I ever had to wait for a table. The Kinck had been one of my favorite go-to restaurants for many years. Plus they have the BEST tater-tots in Milwaukee!

This place is incredible! The customer service is awesome! I don't know much about wine, but they suggested a wine, I went with it, and it was probably the best wine I've ever had. Also, I ordered fish, and that was some of the best fish I've ever had, and my husband ordered steak, which he said was amazing. The appetizer we ordered was fried squid, and that was the best squid I've ever tasted! The people here were very friendly and we definitely are glad we chose to go here!

Faded lady. Room carpets not thoroughly vacuumed nor clean. Non-working hair dryer. Furniture surfaces damaged. Loud window airconditioners blowing cold air directly at seating area but needed on max to keep room livable. Residential area with no resources for tourists. No tourist info at hotel which appears to have been converted into residential units primarily. Was quiet and had nice lake views.

Cocktails nice, service not so. Male bartender took care of us this evening and would respond as he walked away. We waited too long to be greeted as the bar was not crowded. I asked brunette female bartender for a water before my cocktail arrived and she communicated the message to our male bartender who immediately forgot. Would it have been that difficult to simply reach for a glass, dump ice in it and shoot water into glass filled with ice? Hmmmmm. No. Instead I observed her place a freshly washed, still soapy glass on the clean glass shelf. Nice.

Male bartender made a huge ice cream concoction and my husband inquired as to what it was. Bartender walked away, so husband asked again when bartender was in ear shot. His response was simple, "you don't want one of them". Ok. I guess you're a mind reader, too.

Hotel bars tend to cater to hotel guests, which we were. This is a lovely hotel, great experience, but believe the bartenders don't fit the atmosphere of the fine experience this should be or perhaps was at some point.

My drink was fine, but service and experience not fine.

Cool place. The drinks were good and very large. Food was spot on too. I had the Ahi Tuna Nicoise.

Elsa's on the park is beautiful. I loved the four seasons salad with chicken. It was pretty basic and so was the strawberry shortcake. But the service was impeccable and that is why I gave it 5 stars! Consistent food and great service is rare these days! Elsa's gets it right and is beautiful on the inside and out.

Delicious food! In from out of town and wanted food that I can't find at home. 3 recommendations to this place. Food and service were a great welcome to Milwaukee!

The roasted beet salad was absolutely fantastic! Best salad I have had in a long time, flavorful and light. The lunch salmon was more than enough for 2 meals and was delicious as well. This was my first experience at The Knick and I will definitely be back!

A consistently good meal this is our go to place in the neighborhood. The service is awesome and the food is great! The salmon was tasty and the lamb was too. The drinks are also interesting here.. creative.
When we here we spotted Preeti ( Top Chef Contestant ) while having dinner. This time it was packed and a little noisy. But it was still an enjoyable experience. Keep up the good work. ;-)
