My stay was during hurricane Irma. The entire staff kept polite and pleasant. Outstanding actually. I may add I was with a wheelchair bound elderly, with Dementia. Thanks for making our stay very comfortable. We will be back!
No mattress covers on the bed. Just one sheet on the mattress that you could see the cover of the mattress top, The mattress had 3 in-4 in sag on one side. Not a place i would stay again an old style motel..
i have stayed at La Quinta Inn many times before and they were so 4+ stars -- the people were great but place i was hard to for me to give it 2 stars
It's not the easiest hotel to get to, as the entrance is a little weird. Beyond than rather small is ur the rate was competitive for hotel like itself in that area. The room that I stayed in could have use a touch of paint and the couch needed to be replaced. My biggest problem with the room is that it literally smelled like a wet dog. I got it the room very late and was too tired to get the room changed. Also why wife was sick and couldn't smell it anyway. We had the king room, and I must say that the think I liked the most was the bed. It was very spacious and comfortable. Over all 3 out of 5.
Nice staff, rooms were nice, clean. can tell renovations have been done. Can see where contractors did some work, not too well, but the rooms and prices are worth minor items. Love that premises is video monitored, 24/7, safe and secure, pet friendly. Breakfast is limited, but good and beds are sooooo comfortable.
Liked coming here during the summer.. the pool ! the staff was friendly, helping. Ms even, ms Natasha, ms. Bria, and ms. Sophia, always were around when we needed something. , the lady who mostly I saw in the am breakfast is really good ,at keeping the food stacked ,live the waffles n muffins too!
Our room was nice and clean. The staff was friendly. It needs a refrigerator. We also has someone messing around our truck and trailer. We had to get security and they took care of the problem.
Not a bad nights stay. Everyone was friendly, they even let me check in early in the morning to accommodate my needs.
The staff is very friendly. The rooms could definitley use an upgrade but overall it was a pleasant stay. There is even a very quaint secluded barbeque area in the rear
I made a reservation for a one night stay checking in on 5/5/17. This reservation was made well in advanced, April 3rd 2017. I was traveling from out of town with friends and we were coming for an event. I chose this particular hotel due to the proximity to the venue and the fact that I had stayed 3 or 4 times in the past for similar events, and each occasion had been a pleasant one. Upon arriving to the hotel at approximately 6:30, I was informed that my room was not yet ready, despite the fact that check in time is 3 pm. Having to be at our event at 8 pm, we proceeded to use the restroom in the lobby and head out. I double checked with the girl at the front desk who assured me that my room would be ready in one hour and there would be absolutely no problem checking in after the event as there would be somebody at the desk all night. Upon returning from our event, anxious to check in, we were informed that the hotel was overbooked and that my room was not available. We were offered a voucher for Inns of America which was approximately 8 miles away. We tried unsuccessfully to secure an Uber and asked if a cab could be provided as didn't feel we should drive. We were told that the manager said no cabs could be provided. Ultimately we made arrangements to stay with friends who were also in town for the event. I was told to expect a call from the manager the following day which never happened, so I took it upon myself to call the following Monday. I received a call back from Justin, who apologized and offered 3,000 points for my inconvenience. Inconvenience is putting it lightly. Reservations were Made far enough in advanced to ensure that we had a room. I understand the cleaning staff was running behind and did not make a big deal about not being able to get into the room before the event, despite wanting to shower and change first. After enjoying a show and a few drinks, the last thing I expected was to be told that I had no room and that I would have to drive or secure my own transportation to a hotel that was further away. Then to not receive a call as promised, and have to follow up myself. And to top it off, as a consolation for the inconvenience, be offered points that cannot be used for anything is insulting. I have sent an email to corporate but have not heard back. I returned to WPB this week for another event and am glad I had already made reservations at the Holiday Inn near the airport. Highly recommend it.
I had a late check-in and the front receptionist was friendly. Having to get two rooms was easy, and the room were decent. Though the A/C system was functional the rooms humidity was rather high.
Breakfast in the morning was arranged well with waffles, hard boiled eggs, white and wheat breads for toast, cereals like Raisin Bran, Fruit Loops and Cheerios. Yogurt, apples and oranges plus muffins were available also.
Check out was very simple; turn in my rooms keys and a transaction receipt was provided.
