I only gave them a star because it wouldn't let me post the review without 1. But I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. They are very unprofessional. Management talks down to You like you're beneath them. They charged my card an extra $100 because they had to vacuum the room after my 2 night stay. They charged Me to clean the room that was normal for a 2 day stay. And when I asked about the charges they called the police on Me and told me I was trespassing. DO NOT STAY HERE NOT WORTH THE MONEY AT ALL!

The rooms were very nice for a good price. Free access to swimming pool and 24 hour fitness center was a big plus. Dogs are allowed which is also a plus for me. Would definitely recommend, and will definitely be returning!

I frequently come to Milwaukee for nursing, lobby clean and updated. Front desk was very helpful with ideas for things to do in the area, and very warm and welcoming. I think her name was Samantha, she made my family feel like we were home away from home. Great job!

Horrible. Stayed here 03/10/2018 because my husband is in the Army Reserves and his unit is in Milwaukee. We wanted to go out to dinner and have an evening together while he was going to be gone, this is the hotel the unit puts them up at so I just booked us our own room. So disappointed for multiple reasons. When I arrived there were two Milwaukee PD cars there because of a fight that had happened, the hallways, elevator and our room all smelled of weed. Multiple people jamming into one room, kids running around all over the place, people just lingering everywhere.

The next morning he had to report early so left before I did. Another wife was also there and when she left there again was Milwaukee PD and an Ambulance first thing in the morning because of some altercation. Again, kids running around, women without bras or shoes on in the breakfast area, then to top it off grown men making crude sexual comments as I'm walking out. This of course is not the direct fault of La Quinta but should be known for other travels considering where to stay in the Bay Shore area.

where do i start.. the rooms were clean and the staff pleasant. other than that it was the worst experience of my traveling life. It seemed like party central. people running up and down the halls at all hours of the night. knocking on doors late in the evening. it seems the locals use this hotel for a free breakfast in the morning and they use the pool as their private club. i am not very happy about the security in this place. next time i will not be staying here .

I already did a review. Room was clean, outlets were packing. People working were nice. Location is good, right next to Bayshore shopping center.

My husband made reservations for us to stay here, even though he is aware that I do not like this hotel at all, but it's close to an event that he attends . Due to a medical issue, I called the front desk very early (4am) Sat A.M., to request a first floor room. The awful woman that answered the phone picked it up all out of breath and said " guest services". No greeting, no telling me her name, and she sounded like she just ran a marathon. I politely asked if I could add a note on to my reservation about wanting first floor, and she just hung up on me! I have also worked for a hotel, and if you hang up on a guest, you get fired. This woman does not belong in this line of work! To have a bad experience before you even walk through the door is very telling of how your stay is going to be. I called back around 7 am, and the second person I spoke to was more helpful then the dreadful night shift person.

I had a fairly good experience here. The staff was pleasant, room was nice and the location is great. The in room coffee maker is a joke. Fortunately there is a 24 hour coffee machine in the buffet area that makes pretty good coffee.

    Second visit:
Mostly the same as above but this visit should get 6 stars. Room was fantastic.

My husband and I stayed here with our two children and we just loved it! I can't imagine the angry reviewers actually had a bad stay but probably are just looking to get something for free. Every staff member we encountered greeted us and treated us so kindly! Those housekeepers really seem to work hard. The staff at the front desk were very kind even though a couple times we had to wait for someone to be at the desk.

We have never stayed at this location before but have stayed at other La Quintas and this is definitely one of the best! There is shopping close by and the neighborhood feels very safe! Our kids loved walking around the mall that is just up the next street!

Thank you for making out little getaway so memorable! We can't wait to come back to Milwaukee and stay here again!

I stay at the property all the time and absolutely love it! I just read some of the previous reviews and honestly am really shocked! Anyone that rates this hotel below 5 stars has some kind of vendetta. There is no way to have a bad time here unless you break their rules. You gotta realize they are only there to make sure we get what we pay for! The staff here so so amazing and helpful! Jordan the general manager is so kind and so is Rhiannon the sales girl. This is one of my favorite hotels I've ever stayed at and will continue to do so! I am kind of sorry they have to deal with such negative people!

Beverly at the front desk was beyond rude and unprofessional. From the beginning of the arrival she spoke with a tone that was very offscale. Never once attempted to make satisfy our group as customers. She continued to speak rudely despite an attempt to speak with her nicely. There were tons of kids in the pool area, but once we entered they sent the security guard to check to verify every band excluding everyone else. After voicing that we wanted to leave, the manager quickly found a violation so they didn't have to refund our 30 minute stay. Security guard and fellow employees all were all in and doing the exact thing. DO NOT STAY

Clean, quick check-in, convenient, nice location, in an area w/ plenty to offer!
Priced well for a roomy King suite. The bathroom is a bit tiny, but I don't think that's a big deal.
I only wish they had a bit of flat space for grass (or a gravel area) to walk dogs. Walking dogs on a steep incline isn't always easy - especially if you have 2 strong dogs like we do
We'd definitely stay here again regardless. Very well cared for

My stay was nice at first or so I thought. I stayed 2 nights and I actually was only staying at the hotel because of a very life threatening and detrimental situation that happened and my life was in danger so I needed to stay somewhere for a few days. So in the most sarcastic way possible, I want to say thanks a lot LA QUINTA for making my life easier. YEAH RIGHT! The nights that I was there, I stayed in one of the very nice suites which I must say was very nice and clean. I was able to relax the first night and take my mind off of the trouble that was going on in my life. The second day I was there, I attempted to use the computer in the business room to print off very important documents. Both printers were out of ink (very unprofessional) and no one even knew they were empty until I told them. The HORRIBLE manager Jordan didn't even want to talk to me and address it he just kept sending front desk staff back and forth to deal with the issue and it was dealt with very carelessly. Never got a, "we apologize ma'am for your inconvenience". Then on the day of check out, I checked out, turn my keys in and 3 days later on my card appears a $250 charge claiming that I smoked in the room. I tried to explain that I NEVER smoked in there and they stated they had pictures of cigarette boxes and it smelled like smoke. But I was never showed these pictures. I was never given a fair chance to speak with someone. Jordan didn't want to do his job as a manager he didn't even want to talk to me so he sent red head racist Nathan who was racist and RUDE! And I was told their was no one over them and their was no one else that I could speak with regarding the issue. I actually cried when I left the hotel because of the extra frustration and rudeness and not being treated like a human being.
