I went there for work not bad at all very clean and very convenient for me I'll recommend to others.
Only strange experience was that money kept getting taken off my boyfriend and friend’s debit card at the same time of like 3 in the morning almost every night during our stay. Ended up getting it fixed. Otherwise good atmosphere. The pool is nice and so are the rooms.
Very nice room nice king bed pet friendly 10 out of 10 I give them bathroom really the whole place is clean and fresh will be staying again very soon pool and hot tub is great and all staff 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Best hotel so far in I 80 heading east. Accept pets , the facility is new smell really good in the rooms and hallways. No pet fee. Indoor pool and hot too opens until midnight. Continental Breakfast offers more variety than other hotels. Staff was very nice and prompt services as requested. Overal experience very good
This La Quinta in the Peru area severs the best breakfast !! It's great ! We found this hotel completely remodeled and it looks so fresh and clean ! The rooms were also beautifully redecorated, quite nice, only I did miss the table instead of the desk which is hard to sit around. All of the personnel we had contact with were very friendly and all our needs were met. Definitely enjoyed our stay and would recommend !
Reserved a king bed back in June. When we got there in October, they only had a room with double beds. Manager didn't seem to care. In fact, she treated us as if we were lucky to even get a room.
Clean, pet friendly, basic accommodations. Very reasonably priced and one of the few chains that does not charge a fee for your pet. Decent free breakfast. Good stop right off of route 80
Rooms pretty clean. Continental breakfast adequate. Right near interstate and places to eat and shop. You have to meander back to find it. Parking is kind of funky. In middle of updating so what parking there is was blocked by construction stuff.
Room was very clean and nice. Guest services was accommodating with issues we experienced. Breakfast was better than most continental breakfast. Only issue was bathroom near pool was closed due to remodeling but understood that could not be helped
What a great hotel experience! The staff was very friendly and welcoming, the room clean and modern. Definitely will come back.
Easy to get to off I-80. Friendly staff and our room was clean. The bed was comfortable and the coffee was tasty. Our dog had a nice night as well!
The rooms were very nice and clean. The staff was great. We did not have breakfast but it looked like they offered a variety of items. This is a great place to stay if you are in the area!
Best La Quinta room we have stayed in so far along our travels. The room was updated, modern, and very clean. Staff at the hotel is friendly and accommodating. We called two hours ahead of time in search of a room and Gary was helpful and assuring. Check in process was fantastic. Gary and the staff at the hotel are great.
terrible experience, people drinking and with loud music in the parking lot until 5a.m. bugs in room, hot tub & pool. loud partying people in rooms next to us all night long til 5 a.m.
terrible terrible terrible I would give -5 if possible. never La Quinta again.
Very nice hotel. Rooms were clean in every way, pool was well conditioned. Took us in as a walk in and the workers were very friendly. Every time we passed we were greeted and the workers were very informative on what the accommodations of the hotel were. Very happy stay.
Advice for avoiding more 1 star reviews:
1. Don't give us keys to a room that is already inhabited by another guest. She was understandably terrified when we opened the door to her room in the middle of the night.
2. After making the above mistake, don't try to reassure us by offering us an "upgrade" to a room with one king bed and a Jacuzzi tub when we specifically ordered two queen beds given the number of people in our party.
3. Don't try to pass off a room as "non smoking" when it has obviously been smoked in.
4. When trying to pass off a room as non smoking, don't leave the window open until your guests arrive on a day when it is 90 degrees outside. Yes it was hot.
5. If you do choose to try to pass off a room as non smoking by leaving the window open on a hot day, have at least one fan in the entirety of the hotel that you can put in said room.
6. Take down those ridiculous shower curtains that command me to wake up on the bright side.
I stayed in the hotel this weekend with my son for nearby basketball training. The hotel is dated and has a dark dingy feel to it. The employees do come by and I did see them cleaning; however, it just never felt clean to me. The breakfast was nice with biscuits & gray, cereal, cold apple and orange juice. I could not get any restful sleep because in the room next to mine, was a full size dog that barked continually when the owners left (which was in the morning and evening). It's not a stretch to assume the owners allowed the dog to sleep in one of the beds. During Saturday evening the hallway was purmiated with the smell of Marijuana. I told the clerk who appeared concern. However, the smell continued through out the night. It should noted the hotel is near several restaurants and stores. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Very quaint, accommodating, and decorative. The rooms were roomy and not too small with modern design and good amenities. The pool was open from 8am to midnight which was excellent, as everyone in my party enjoys swimming and hot tubs at hotels. Plenty of restaurants in the area, although lacking with late night gas station options. Overall a great one night stay.
