Its a decent place my first room the hot water and tv didn't work but got a note on the door bad thing was it was when I got back at 1130 n couldn't change rooms due to the office being closed other than that it alright is stay agian
I'm giving it a 3 for a few reasons. I love older motels such as this one. The vintage signage and design of the building and rooms are mesmerizing to me. However it has to be kept up on cleanliness and maintenance. This place needs both. Not sure about finacifin situation or understaffed to do these responsibilities, but I felt like I needed to write a review. My wife and I stayed here for one night to get out for our anniversary. I chose this for location and price. I reserved a room thru bookit three days prior to arrival. We arrived and everything was set. I asked about a room with whirlpool tub in the bookit and again in person at the counter. She said they had them in non and smoking rooms. I chose non and off we went. First, the door I noticed fit loosly in the frame allowing it to draft air in and also enough to peek in if you got close enough. No biggie. Put our bags down and noticed we really didn't want to take our coats off for how cold it was. The thermostat was off. Now I would assume that if you knew a guest would be staying you'd get the temperature up. At least keep it at 50, but that's just me I guess. Also, no biggie as we were going to eat. So the room would have a chance to get warm while we were away. Next was the whirlpool tub. Awesome in size. Vintage pink. Gold jets. Cool tub. . .but. it didn't work. No jets. The one thing I wanted. So, we ate. Came back and I walked to the front desk and asked about it. She said she could put us in smoking or I could wait for whats-his-name to come take a look. I politely refused the room and told her not to worry about the tub. Other than that and a few other little things, it was a decent stay. I would probably come back if in the area only next time around would call ahead to verify heat/air and that the tub is working.
I live here.It is a very quiet place , everyone who works here are very helpful and friendly. The owner is very helpful to your needs if your room needs anything
A friend and I just went there for a week. It’s a cheap motel, if you expect perfection go somewhere else and spend more money. The TV had hundreds of channels and the bed was surprisingly comfy. Everything was to be expected for our first motel ever. We got what we paid for and our two nights went normal. To all those Susan’s and Shannon’s who feel the need to complain about every little thing that upsets you, buzz off. You’ll deal with it or pay more. I would recommend.
The location is nice. Restaurants everywhere and a Walmart up the road. The rooms are cozy and perfect for what you need, just a little outdated. The staff is very helpful though.
Stayed here many times . Nice office staff especially Karen . Caring people . Quiet . Clean
The staff is friendly and helpful. Room conditions are pretty good for the price.
So where to start with this motel. It is th worst motel I have ever stayed at. It is gross and filthy. It smells horrible and I dont think the front desk guy is all there. I asked him for more rags to clean the room with because the first 6 rags and towels were black from cleaning the room so far at this point. And then I proceeded to apologize because I turned the towels black. And he told me Don't worry it happens all the time. Wyd. It makes me question who they hire to clean or even if they ever clean. Even though its a cheap motel the least they could do is clean it so you don't feel dirty staying here. I won't recommend it to anyone. We had a sign on our night stand that stated press 0 for front desk. Well there wasn't even a phone to call front desk. The only good thing I can say is they have a tv with cable that actually works. That's about all.
No internet or Wi-Fi everything else is nice it's quiet no traffic decent place clean rooms the guy who runs the place is Fair honest hard-working keeps the place is very clean I would trust my family to stay here any day of year the best in LaSalle and A American face. So come on in because he's one of the last of the good ones
Disgusting. Dirty stained bedsheets. I slept in my sleeping bag over the covers. Dirty floors. Spend an extra 20-30$ and go elsewhere.
Classic 70's motel. I slept on top of the bed in my sleeping bag because I didn't trust that the sheets were clean. I also didn't trust the towels
Ive never stayed there, so to say anything about the rooms or services would be guessing. However, it is a bit of an eye sore in the community. The only ones I know of who stay there are practically residents. The pat monthly and weekly fees to make it their residence.
Really friendly staff, clean room
It was perfect for what I needed. Just traveling, didn't need a grand experience.
Mellow place and was less than fifty bucks. Good laundrymat across the street
Apparently there is no health department in Lasalle, Il. I would feel bad if I had to leave my dogs there. Filth and smells.
Good location,spacious room(s),however kinda pricey for it's condition/age.
