I may be biased because I worked here but this is a great place to go. The show selection has always been great and it is always changing. Some of my favorite shows that have been put on are Peter Pan, Phantom of the Opera, and a show that I can't think of the name but it was a 50s style show kinda like Happy Days. The drink selection is great I would recommend an ice cream drink like the Death by Chocolate or the Volcano. The volcano drink is a huge bowl of alcohol that looks like a volcano and is served on fire, which is a pretty cool thing to see. I would recommend drinking this with a friend as it is a lot of alcohol. The food is always good, it's a buffet which I don't like buffets but the food is good regardless. Everyone always raves about the sweet potato casserole.
You come in. Get seated. Have some fun. Eat from the buffet. The buffet system is pretty neat so that you're not standing in line too long. Get served a dessert. And then you get to enjoy a pretty cool show. I would recommend this for a nice date. I would also recommend La Comedia for Christmas or New Years.response / report this review -

Wonderful first time there. The show was wonderful. The dinner was delicious. I will recommend it to all my friends. I would love to go again sometime.

I like the Sunday matinee. Great shows, place, seating, sweet potato souffle; could use more variety of food. You need free soda pop with free refills (including during the shows)!!! Pop does not cost that much compared to what we pay for the show. Not everyone likes coffee or whatever your free drinks are. Price too expensive. You also need to have coupons.

Pretty good place for a more affordable dinner theater. Love the sweet potato suffle! The gift store sells quirky items. Staff is always polite. The shows are what you get for the price- good, but not Broadway material.

The show was great! Food was pretty good. Will go back for more shows. The one bad thing was the men's room smelled like pee. Needs cleaned better or at least a good air freshener.

Shows are pretty good. Food is terrible the overall ticket price not worth the $spent. If you call the CS team will not budge on special requests and if you contact the owner they don't even give you the courtesy of a call or returned email. Spend your entertainment $ elsewhere

My family and I went to see Mama Mia. The show was excellent. We sat down and enjoyed the salad. Not really a fan that they don't give you a choice of dressing. However their house is different but pretty good. They have super small water glasses and we saw our waiter twice all night. Eating while being super thirsty sucks. Especially when you're paying that much for tickets and drinks. We got there at 5:30 and didn't leave until 10:30 or so. The food was okay. Sweet potatoes were amazing. Cod wasn't fried long enough. Veggies were gross. Ham and chicken was pretty good. The rolls were absolutely amazing, like crescent rolls and Texas Roadhouse's rolls had a baby. The dessert was a scoop of sherbet ice cream with a raspberry drizzle. Very refreshing considering we had nothing to drink. I wouldn't do it again. Worth going once I suppose.

I have been here many many times and La Comedia has NEVER disappointed. Not only are the shows amazing, the good is to die for!! They make an in house papaya dressing for their salad that taste like heaven on a plate. Their sweet potato soufle is mouth watering Good! We recently saw Beauty and the Beast. What they did for the Be Our Guest Scene was simply astonishing! This place is great for the family, for anniversaries, young and old. Totally worth the price!

We went and saw the Church Basement Ladies. It was wonderful. Another fine production by La Comdedia. The food was great, and the service was good.

Food was very greasy or dry. Very outdated or worn out decor, utensils, dinnerware, glasses, buffet equipment, etc. For elderly people. Says it's a comedy but I didn't laugh once and typically I'm easily amused. The play was slow too. Wanted to leave before intermission even occurred. Would not waste my time there again.

$73 per person is the most I've ever paid for an evening. Then, to find out that ONLY water, coffee, and tea were 'included' in that price, and ONLY if it was 'delivered' before intermission, even if you requested it 40 minutes before the show started, left a bitter aftertaste of snobbery in my mind. My friend asked for coffee 40 minutes before the show was to start. It was never brought out. During intermission, she was told they would bring coffee, but only if it was paid for. When we reminded them that we had requested it LONG before the show even started, and, reminded a 'water and tea server' that she would like some coffee(she said she didn't have any coffee), our server said she would 'see what she could do'. No coffee ever came. The food was wonderful, the show was interesting and well done, but I suppose the bitter taste of the cost of a cup of coffee never delivered will flavor the memory for a long while.

LaComedia has great food, entertainment and service. It was very cozy and quiet and a great place to enjoy a night out with family and friends. The only downfall is the seating. The chairs are VERY uncomfortable especially to be sitting in for 4-5 hours. It mad3 for a long night. But the show and service were excellent
