Lots of outdoor seating with large portions of good tasting food. Service was not the fastest even though it was not all that busy. Would recommend a stop if in Tucson.

This is a great restaurant in downtown Tucson. The service, food and atmosphere are all wonderful. The outdoor dining courtyard even has a nice fish pond

I love this place for it's outdoor area, lights, and general atmosphere. I think the food can be slightly better, but I still enjoy eating there. It's good for a group of 6 people, but anymore and it's very crowded at your table unless you bring a couple tables together depending on availability.

Real cute outdoor food/drinks in downtown area. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it started to get busier as the night approached. There was live music, more relaxed type of environment. I ordered the chicken chimichanga and it was really good. That I know of there's only 1 unisex bathroom. Chimichanga was about $14, but was a good size portion. Drinks started at $8.

The nachos were great. Ordered a few old fashions as well which were also good. Our server was attentive and polite.

Fabulous ambience, outside under a large mesquite tree, with great live music. And the food was great too -- had my first taste of polenta fries. Yum!

La Cocina =The Kitchen has food and drinks. You can eat in a nice outdoor atmosphere. Support local and shop at the various boutiques around the courtyard.

The food and atmosphere are amazing. La Cocina was a recommendation from a friend, glad we were able to experience this gem. Had a chance to meet the owner who completed the night with her amazing personality. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this restaurant if you want a fresh taste on classic dishes.

Fantastic spot for a late night dinner. We enjoyed the live music and varied seating options. The staff was friendly, efficient, and attentive. The food was good and fairly priced. This place was recommended to us by three folks working at other bars and restaurants, and it was a great choice.

Expectations met and exceeded. Automatic top spot in town. Great atmosphere and tasty food. What else could I ask for? Oh, great service too? Done.

The place was huge with several different sections. We ended up sitting in the back patio with fairy-lights. Great ambiance, loved it!
Food was good but not mindblowingly good. Portions were generous to say the least. Service was friendly, would come again.

I give it four stars for the margaritas and the atmosphere. Eating the courtyard near the frog and fish-filled pond under an enormous tree was very nice. (The margaritas, BTW, were the best ones I had in Tucson.) The food was disappointing - I had the chicken chimi, and I should have gone with pot roast. The chips and guacamole were fine, though my wife returned on a different visit and said they were not as good. So I recommend going for drinks and the ambiance.

My hubby and I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant on a Saturday night while on vacation in Tucson. The atmosphere was enchanting. We sat at a table in the courtyard next to the pond and watched the turtles and koi fish while listening to a solo musician on a guitar. The food was AMAZING! I wish we had discovered it the first night we were there because we would have been back every night to try a new dish.

I love this place! I brought a friend here for food and she wanted to return the next night. Fun, funky atmosphere, and the food hasn't disappointed. The only complaint is that sometimes the service can take longer than expected-- they were busy, once was lunch and once was wedding party prep. But staff was friendly and cheerful all the same. This place always feels like 'home' to me.
