What an awesome place to visit frequently in East Village! Not just your regular gastropub with incredible food but they've added a great outdoor area and a brewery next door with $3 pints on Wednesdays! (Craft beer at that price!? Yes!) Best part, dogs are welcome..even at the bar in the tasting room!

Love this place. Always great beer selection. Great bar food. Great service. Not a huge fan of the no AC thing, so they get 4 stars. Fun place during ComicCon.

Great craft selection, fantastic food, and the staff is very nice. The live music and atmosphere make this place a must visit. Probably my favorite place to eat and drink at during my trip to San Diego.

Great food, atmosphere, and service. Ask for Katherine. She's a gem, with great recommendations.

I often visit the Knotty when in the East village area if downtown. Excellent draft and bottle beer selections including they have their own small brewery on site as well. It is a pub, very open with all outside seating in the sidewalk, pretty good pub food too. A good place for before or after baseball games or for any other reason as well.

Great local brewery downtown. Fried pickles are pretty delicious. Also great flight options on different spirits. Fun games and a great patio for dogs!!!

solid spot with a quality beer list. the ability to choose four 5-oz. beers for $9 is also really cool. disappointed to see so many macro-owned beers on the list, and the prices are otherwise a bit steep, but overall this place is legit.

Cool place to hangout or have lunch/dinner. Good beer selection. Rustic look but built with great quality. Never a rowdy crowd.

The food was outstanding, the beer was delicious, and the atmosphere inviting.
The only drawbacks were the slow service, even though it was friendly, and the music was too loud. We had to almost yell to talk to each other.
This is a great place to grab some grub and drink some beer.
The location is great and the pubs brewery style makes for a great experience.

I really enjoyed the food at that this place. I have heard the stories about severs adding more on the tip from my friends. Well I checked my bank account today and it had happen . I understand we all have to work but stealing from the customer is not right. So my sever added a couple more dollars to the tip. So I letting people know be careful and watch your bank card or credit card statements.
