We had a fantastic dining experience at Key West Shrimp House. Our server was David and he was hands down the best server we have ever had! It was extremely busy yet we had full drinks the entire time and always had food in front of us starting with the unlimited salad bar, to the soup & bread, and finishing off with our delicious entrees. We will be back sooner rather than later!

Absolutely amazing every time we go. The shrimp scampi is a must. Made like no other we've had anywhere else and the blackened shrimp Alfredo has so much yummy melted cheese, you can't go wrong!!

Excellent salad bar, lovely setting, friendly service. My friends were dissatisfied with their filets ..medium was definitely medium rare to the rare side and our orders were all less than piping hot. We were told two large tables were interfering with normal service. Nice house wine and both shrimp dishes were delicious if cool.

We had to wait awhile but was worth it. We both had the coconut shrimp for $20. Best we have ever had. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. We will go back whenever we are in town.

Great food and great people
Very accommodating. The staff and owner are over the top. Always consistent good food. One of our favorite destination places to go eat.

Great food. Older setting, but worth a visit. Friendly hostess and most serving staff and staff that buses the tables. Visited twice in three days, our server (Brice), both times, was excellent and each time there was 10 people in our party. Recommend dining early as it is a very busy place and at times run out of side dishes and at times popular entrees. They have a parking lot, but fills up quickly. Street parking is a challenge.

The Greater was in a great mood. Every waiter and waitress in there was mad about something. I Ate there alone and they set me at the bar and then had me scoot over by the dirty dishes and the bar tender was about to have a nervous breakdown. Best I could tell she needs a full time bar back. I got the Capt Platter best thing on the Menu. I got treated like a deck hand not a Capton 🙁

Hostess was fantastic seating our party of 13 quickly and server was efficient and responsive. Food was very good. Mother's 94th birthday was a big success for all.

Both of our meals tasted bad. They looked like they would be good but weren't. Very disappointed.

This continues to be the place to eat in Madison. My girl friends and I come each year for the Fall Craft show, but yesterday we were celebrating a milestone birthday and wanted to go to our favorite place. Where else but the Key West Shrimp House. Want to know more? Well, the "new" owner, Kathy, rose in the ranks to now own a great "go to" place when in Madison. She'll greet you with a huge smile and hello at the door and then seat you where you'll be truly "served" by David or one of the other staff. Donna, at the bar, will whip up something wonderful and you'll sit back to a fun dining experience. If you come back over time, you'll notice the same servers and staff. They enjoy working there and you'll enjoy eating there! Kathy, David and Donna, can't wait to see you in September!
