If you’re looking for sushi, Masa is it in Manchester. My boyfriend and I are frequent buyers of the Love boat for two of sashimi and sushi. The fish quality is very consistent and their tuna and salmon sashimi is melt in your mouth quality fish. Never have any problems ordering online for pick up and there is enough sushi to feed the both of us with some leftover. Beautiful presentations and friendly staff.
First time going there and I will say I was blown away. The food was absolutely amazing. The scorpion bowl was hugem we got the scorpion bowl for 2 and it was more like for 4. Tasted great. Very friendly staff. The cook did an amazing job with all the food. My wife was very skeptical at first as she has never been and after all was said and done she wants to go back.
I really enjoyed eating at Masa, the food was delicious. There is plenty of parking, the wait staff where very attentive. The chef was a excellent hibachi chef and gave a wonderful cooking show as he prepared our food right in front of us. Great restaurant.
Overall a nice experience. The food, in my opinion, was nothing special, but still pretty good. Our favorite was the beef negamaki! They were smaller than most ones we've had in the past, but we liked that they were! The ambiance was nice also. We didn't do hibachi, and ordered a bunch of appetizers and sushi rolls. Where it may not have been anything "special" we would still go back if in the area! Also ordered the chicken satay (which the chicken was super nice pieces, but the sauce was a little lacking), hot and sour soup, ginger salad, gyoza, a chicken tempura roll, and my bf also had another roll.
This is my first ever review of a restaurant and first time at this restaurant specifically but it left an impression! Masa looks really cool and moody for those looking for a dive experience. I’m more of a Halloween kind of fan myself so I liked the ambiance. The food however leaves something to be desired. I didn’t have the hibachi, just ate at the dining side of the restaurant with my father for my birthday dinner and to catch up. Not only could I not hear him over the loud bar atmosphere on what I believed was a dining room but the food was a whole other experience. Frankly put, it is more a seafood place than a steakhouse and the seafood was not fresh. The squid was stale, the soup is left on the pot all day, and I ordered lobster tail and received something that absolutely did not taste, have the texture of, or smell like lobster. Every order of my meal came drowned in teriyaki sauce including the very questionable “lobster tail”. Simple to say that You couldn’t convince me to eat there again…..
