I usually check reviews before I try new food spots but today I was on the move and wanted something quick. The food definitely does not taste like authentic Jamaican food!! I ordered a jerk chicken platter with rice and peas and cabbage. The chicken wasn’t terrible but I’ve definitely had better. It was soggy and watery?? Usually jerk is grilled, I’m not sure how they prepared this chicken. The meat was tender tho. The rice and peas barely had flavor. The cabbage also lacked flavor and was hard. Somehow everything was salty. There was no spice or herbs in sight like mentioned in their item descriptions. Usually jerk chicken comes with a jerk sauce, but this place did not?? I’ve never had bad Jamaican food until today…I’m usually not a review leaver but this was crazy cause I didn’t know Jamaican food could even be bad……If you are looking for some quality Jamaican food look elsewhere because this spot did not give that at all.

first time visiting this restaurant and I must say I was very impressed. the customer service was great and I enjoyed both dishes I got from here. the portions were good and reminded me of our traditional dishes from back home. you won’t be disappointed trust me it’s worth a try!

The food was delicious. The atmosphere was welcoming. I was greeted with great customer service. I loved the oxtails and curry chicken dishes! Thank you Trappixx for a wonderful experience and down home Jamaican cuisine.

The food was horrible! Fish was cooked way before I ordered it! It was rubbery and very salty! Cabbage was hot as if hot peppers were cooked in it! I called the store and asked them not to serve that food to anyone else and the rice was very dry! Worse food I ever had, could not eat two forks full.. Mouth was burning from the hot peppers

This is the WORST Jamaican restaurant! Look how tough this oxtail is , almost cracked my damn teeth! I called to tell them about my experience and receptionist or whatever she is asked me what I wanted her to do! Tf - I don’t normally leave negative reviews but they are the worst!
