One of the true great classic hamburger joints not just locally but anywhere. Hamburgers and malts are simply the best in a shop that takes you back decades!

My burger was EXCELLENT!! And we showed up about 8pm. at the same time everyone was leaving, so we had the joint to ourselves!

If you have never been to Lima, Kewpee is the place to go. Best hamburger, fries, and malts in town. Don't expect fast service. Kewpee is legendary and the line, inside and out, is always long, but expect your hamburger, made the way you want it, will always be fresh.

Visited Lima for business from Cleveland. And I heard I had to try this place. Its in my nature to research things first and I respect the history of the establishment..so I went to the one by my hotel for lunchand I am so happy I did. By far one of the best burgers i ever had. Lived up to the hypeso much so that I made sure to eat at the downtown location before I left on my last day in town.

First of all, the service was absolutely terrible. I suggest to the staff there to get out of food service if you act like me asking you what I can put on a burger is a waste of your time. On top of that, my friends who had ordered in front of me had already finished eating and cleaned the table by the time they even called for my food. I would understand this if they were not fully staffed and I hadn't just purchased one double hamburger with just cheese. I waited 20 minutes for food, and was about to go up and ask (after seeing two groups of people who had ordered more food than I, myself, did receive their food) and they finally called me to the register acting like nothing was wrong. The staff in this place would probably be better suited for a prison cafeteria than actual food service. This is coming from someone who works at a sandwich shop. For prices more expensive than Steak n' Shake, food that's almost as good, terrible service, and a large population of Kewpie dolls, I'd just say skip this place.

My favorite dining spot in Lima!! My wife of 18 yrs was a Lima native, we lost her in March. She always laughed that I seemingly worshipped at the shrine of Kewpee. I'm returning to town for a family celebration of her life in June. You can bet I'll visit Kewpee. Great people, great food. Thanks Lima!

One of my favorite places to eat. Great burgers and good prices. If you want fresh fries be sure to say "hot fries" when you order.
