This was my 3rd time visiting Ken Stewart's. Unfortunately the food was NOT fresh! I ordered calamari and the crab cake with a salad. My God-mother ordered the salmon. The crab cake was very good. However, the calamari and salmon were not fresh. The calamari had a good flavor..but it was VERY tough and not fresh. My God-mother unfortunately got sick from the salmon. She has been to the Lodge MANY times and this was her 1st bad experience. The service was also not good. It took our server a lot of time prior to coming over to take our order. She also had to be requested to refill our beverages. Not sure if her other tables were in a different room..but she definitely was not focused on US. The manager was very nice though and he did try to fix everything for us. Unfortunately due to my god-mother getting sick, I will NOT be back!

This restaurant is the real deal! They know how to pamper their customers. The specials are always amazing. Seafood is fantastic! Try the de-shelled king crab legs. Filo wrapped prawns are amazing. Give The Lodge a try!

Communication is Lacking
I can't say anything about the food, but the communication sucks. I've dealt with both West Akron, and Bath locations, and the one never even booked us, the other it took, 2 emails, 5 phone calls, and one week to respond. Front desk is more helpful then anyone else, and they can't really even help!

Expected more from an upscale restaurant. Food was mediocre and should have been much better given the prices you pay. Expansive but will even double your bill if you order anything that is not on a menu - specials. I had better experience in Flemmings and even Wasabi.

Nice place. Experience could be better. Prices are pretty high which was expected. However what was not expected is deceiving practices. Servers mumble about specials they run but - BEWARE - those twice more expansive than anything on a menu. So before ordering anything ASK how much it is or you will end up with 500+bill.

When ordering sea food tower appetizer that is exactly what i have expected - instead it was on a large plate on ice (not tower at all).
Better and more presentable sea food tower in - Feng LZ Hibachi
Steak experience was bad - you will have better and cheaper steak in any other restaurant.

Ken Stewarts not worth it for the money i have spent - Much Better Experience in Flemmings.

Nice atmosphere. Large portions, with even larger prices. Food is not memorable for what you pay, but not usually bad enough to complain/send back. If you want to hob nob with other people that are willing to pay high prices for average food, this is a good place to meet Akron's elite. I however am always upset about what I've been served for what the bill ends up being. If you like Ken's, try Urban Farmer and tell me how it compares.
