Seriously a great experience buying a used Ford Escape. We were so jaded from our previous purchase experience that I probably ran Victoria in circles about this vehicle.
Everything was great. Staff is friendly, the lack of sales pressure is really fantastic, and you can actually make it out of the door if you aren't ready to buy.
We visited the dealership three or four times considering the car with three test drives. The price really couldn't be beat for what we got. We had been searching for Escapes for weeks and could not find a better deal.
The day of purchase, we were in the dealership for only 1.5 hours! This was thanks to doing a credit check on the phone earlier, but it was refreshing to not sit in there for 3 hours.response / report this review -

Helpful, accommodating staff. I thought I knew what I wanted when I showed up, but ended up test driving half the lot. The salesman, Joel, was great. He listened until he understood what I was looking for and helped me drive everything in the inventory that met my criteria. In the end, I got a fair value for my trade and a great price on the car I drove home. At the end of the day, the sales manager Matt, even stayed after the place closed to complete my paperwork. Every person I worked with was friendly and professional.

Purchased a 2013 Subaru today. Rod was pleasant and professional. No pressure and wanted me to be happy with the experience. My vehicle was fairly priced. Tony in financing was very helpful, laid back, and straightforward. Drove 2 hours to see this exact car and it was worth the trip. Will buy here again.

All I can say is WOW! From the moment I walked into Kayser's used car office, I was well taken care of. I had emailed Joel a few times regarding a vehicle I was interested in, and he seemed just as excited to get me in that car as I was. A quick toss of the keys and I was on a completely no pressure test drive. "Take your time" he said. Such a contrast to another dealer I was shopping with a few weeks ago who acted like they didn't care if I bought or not. I took two or three test drives and I swear they washed it between each one. When it came time to buy, Joel led the way and it was so so easy, and all the pressure was off. He genuinely seemed to care that I got the vehicle I wanted.not just cared to make a sale. It felt like I was buying a car from a friend. And because I was in a bind for a vehicle, he even came in after his work day had been done for a couple hours to close the salesimply awesome!
Two days after my purchase (on Thanksgiving) I had an issue and contacted my salesman who was no doubt probably sitting down to eat, and he responded back within minutes with "We'll get it handled". Again, WOW, who would do thaton a holiday no less. I have been completely amazed by my experience with Joel and before any other avenue, I would hands down recommend to everyone I know to stop in and see him for their vehicle needs. By far one of the best experiences for buying a car I have had through the years. The staff was friendly and the purchase went smoothly. Joel was one of the best salespeople I have ever had the experience of doing business with. His knowledge of the vehicles as well as the process was top notch. Loving the car we purchased. I recently had the pleasure of working with the team at Kayser purchasing a used vehicle. I had interaction with Joel, a Sales Associate, and Joe, the Sales Manager, during my visits and was very satisfied with their service and help. Both were very professional, easy-going, and were able to answer the questions and concerns I had. I wish my previous car buying experiences would have been half as enjoyable. I absolutely love this dealership. Kayser's sales philosophy is a breath of fresh air. Our sales person, Victoria, was hands down the best car salesperson I have ever worked with. She went out of her way to work for us and find us the best deal. I highly recommend Kayser to all my friends and anyone looking for a new Ford, or a used car. We got a fantastic trade in value too. When I saw our old truck online a week or so later it had hardly been marked up from what we got for it. Honest dealership!!

We just purchased a new 2017 Escape from Kayser this past week. We worked with Victoria Giamberduca and the whole buying experience was very pleasant. Victoria was very friendly and there was absolutely ZERO pressure throughout the entire process (including F&I). Kayser was upfront about all costs and all of our questions were promptly and thoroughly answered. When we did decide to purchase, we couldn’t come in until later in the evening due to our work schedules. Victoria stayed 3 hours after the end of her shift on her short day to meet us, help us finish the transaction, answer questions, and to be sure our new vehicle was detailed and ready for us to take delivery. Victoria and the Kayser team definitely delivered on the “Kayser Promise” that they advertise on their website. I would definitely recommend Victoria and will be back to Kayser for any future vehicle purchases!

Great experience! Met up with Steve Newby and he was a pleasure to work with. Answered all of my questions, made accommodations to help meet my schedule and the whole team made the process fast and painless. Great deal on the vehicle too now that they've switched away from their sales commission structure. Definitely the go-to dealership in the area.

Had the best experience at Kayser when buying our new car. Rod was an exceptional car salesman. He was very polite, gave us all the facts, and did his best to work around our schedule - since we live in Beloit. I will definitely be buying other cars here in the future. AWESOME staff! I've been to Kayser a few times since moving to Madison 10 years ago. Roughly 6 years ago I helped a friend purchase a car here. My experience was "alright." The salesmen were nice, but I had to push a bit to fix some issues with the (admittedly old) car. Ultimately we did get we needed, but it felt like business as usual.
I decided to come this week, years later, and purchase a used car for myself. The experience was phenomenal. The sales staff seemed to really enjoy working with each other and, more importantly with me. Rod listened to my needs and helped find a few cars that worked with my budget (not a few grand more like I might expect other dealers to do).
I previously wasn't a huge fan of "no haggle" pricing, but their stock all seems priced very reasonably (if not competitively) priced, so it was easy to find something that worked for me. Combine this with very fair trade-in pricing andwell, I'm happy. I was in one day and back to purchase the next.
I'd gladly do business both with Rod and Kayser Ford again.response / report this review -

I was initially very hesitant about going to buy a car. I have heard a lot of horror stories about games, being pushed by things they don't want, and paying way more than the vehicle is worth. Because of all this I put off buying a new car. I finally decided to look online and put in a request for information about a vehicle at Kayser Ford. Joel got back to me almost right away. He was so helpful! He set up an appointment for me to come in later that week. Joel showed me only the cars I was interested in, recommended others but did not push anything. Joel listened to what I was looking for and my needs and respected these. As I went to test drive one of the cars, I noticed the sign in the window with my name on it! This personalization and thoughtfulness really made a difference for me, especially with my initial hesitations. I was allowed to put the vehicle on hold and think about it for a day. In thinking about it, I decided I wanted a vehicle and I wanted to buy from Kayser as they were also helpful and great! When I went back, the vehicle was completely ready for me and the process of buying was painless. They transferred all the plates and all of the information and the financing was a breeze. I did not feel pressure to buy anything additional and felt like they really did value my purchase. I would highly recommend Kayser and will definitely go back there for my next vehicle!

Was a great overall experience. Bryan my salesman was AWESOME. Zero pressure,friendly, and answered all of my questions.
Tony the finance guy was great also. He explained all my options and made me feel very comfortable with my purchase.
These guys made it fun and relaxing instead of stomach knots and headaches like one expects from buying a vehicle at most dealerships.
