Great place as ever!! The people are knowledgeable and friendly. It's great to be able to taste before you buy. A great way to introduce kiddos to a variety of fruits and vegetables, cheese's and dips, sauces. So very Happy they are BACK!!!

We stopped by for their preview weekend and couldn t be happier. We bought our favorite farmer basil cheese and had lunch at the cafe area by the deli. Seriously amazing sandwiches made with Brennan's meats and cheeses. The Cuban and the Bucky's Basil Grilled Cheeseyum.

So sad to learn that they are going out of business as of September 1st 2017 Will be truly missed by many! Great selection of produce, cheese, wine and meat. Always the freshest!

RIP Brennan's. 😭 this was our favorite place to shop for cheese. I'll especially miss the gift boxes at Christmas. Our out of town family loved those!

This is a small grocery specific to Wisconsin. It caters to people looking for fresh produce, an expansive selection of the best cheeses Wisconsin has to offer, craft beers and a selection of meats and sausages.

This review is really about the University store, ("our" store) but their website is already closed down. All of the Brennan's Market stores had the same great service and quality. My wife and I made the trip from Rockford last Thursday to say "Goodbye". This is really sad, because my wife grew up with you folks. I have only come to know Brennan's in the last 3 years, so I feel some cheated. I understand why you had to close, but I don't understand most people today. "Trendy" is more important that quality and friendliness. Supporting community based local businesses that give REAL jobs to local people has no place in todays business world.
I could say more, but you guys all understand.

We'll miss having Brennan's produce and cheese! Prices were premium, but always made you feel special, and the samples were a lifesaver for my pregnant grocery shopping self. Since they're closing next week, I'm looking for new places with comparable selection in Madison :(

Everything is very high quality, but still feels overpriced. I sometimes wonder why I go to here instead of a high end market like Metcalfe's. Free samples are cool, but don't expect any early in the day or at the end of the day. Some staff are more helpful than the others. But you can rely on them for top shelf products, especially produce. Bakery (buns/bread) is hit or miss.

Great selection of locally sourced cheese and produce. On my visit they had Cheese Curd Days great selection of different flavors. The staff were very friendly as always.

Fantastic selection of unique produce, cheese, beer, and wine. They have samples out for almost everything! It's easy to spend $100 after 10 minutes of browsing, but the quality is worth it and most items are priced fairly.

We love this store. We drive across town weekly for peaches and sumos when in season. We love being able to sample different varieties of cheeses, fruits and snacks. Our purchases, are often driven by the new things we taste in the store.

If you're looking for high quality cheese's or fruit this is the place to go. They've got samples of many selections to give you an idea of what you're buying. It's pricey, but worth it.
