My mom passed away in September 2021 and Bruce and his staff were wonderful. We are now trying to take care of our dads passing not even four months later and Bruce has had to deal with florida and has been doing a super job. Can't send them enough appreciation in this review. May God continue to bless you and your personal and work family in all that you do.
Kalkaska Funeral Home was amazing, specifically Darcie H. My Father In Law recently passed and we had no clue where to begin or what to do. Darcie walked us through the entire process, answered every one of our questions (there were hundreds and I called every day- multiple times a day). Her patience and demeanor was both professional and caring. She went above and beyond I felt, and the day of his visitation we were all overwhelmingly surprised with how well they had made everything. This process was both scary and stressful- but Darcie made it so much easier for all of us. She reassured us and helped every step of the way. I will forever be grateful to her for all of her help during our time of mourning. Thank you- The Delorey Family.
They did a great job with my dad’s funeral. Very helpful and compassionate. Bruce wrote a beautiful obituary and made planning very easy for us. The whole process they were there for our every need. A special thanks to Bruce and Rick. We really appreciate everything you did for us.
Darcie and Bruce went above and beyond to help us with the passing of my sister. My entire family was impressed with the service and comfort that was given by the two of them. I'm so very thankful for Kalkaska Funeral Home being here in our time of need. The word no does not exist when dealing with them. I will absolutely recommend them to anyone and everyone that finds themselves needing any of their services. If I could give them more than five stars I difinatly would. Thank you Darcie and Bruce for all your help your the best and I can't thank you enough.
Bruce and Darcie were borh so caring and helpful. They indeed treated us as they would want their family treated. My Dad needed to be transported back to Kalkaska from another city 3 hours away. Arrangements were made and he was brought back to Kalkaska in inclement weather on Christmas Eve evening. That gave such dignity to a tough situation.
