We were in the neighborhood and decided to give this place a try. Very nice and friendly service. Decent tasting rolls with good portion. My favorite was Havana roll. I would go back if I am in the area but probably won't get out of my way to go there.

Delicious food. We have had a few incidental moments that we felt customer service was below par, but the waitresses usually perform above par. If you have a big party above a 3 card split don't bother, just let them know ahead of time and order separately.

I'm absolutely blown away by this place! First, and most importantly, there food is excellent. Yellowtail so fresh, I might as well be on the boat. And the presentation was incredible! Not to mention, what a unique selection of rolls! But the real winner here is customer relations! I went there with a regular customer for my birthday. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly. But what set them a notch above for me was a birthday gift presented by the owner personally. Wow! I'm sure that doesn't happen all the time but it's the little things like that that will guarantee them a customer for life. Thank you Kai Sushi!

Great sushi place. Very fresh uni (sea urchin) and the ocean beach sushi roll with spicy scallop is amazing!!! At the bar table, I am able to watch the chef preparing the sushi first hand. It is awesome experience.

First I'd like to say that their food is awesome delicious and as soon as I leave I want to go back. But what got me the most was how they made my autistic son feel so at home being that our son is autistic when we go out to dinner it is very difficult sometimes to just relax and have a peaceful dinner but the staff here made my son feel very welcome gave him a little toys to play with and really took his mind off of everything else and by doing that it allowed us to be able to enjoy some good sushi without having my son flipping out because he doesn't do so well in restaurants. Thank you to the staff of Kai Sushi we will definitely come back.

I was here when they were testing the garlic beans. Gave some to us free and it was great (2015 maybe.) Last night, June 3, 2017, because of a very minor delay of service the owner gave us a plate of the best salmon I've ever had. Overall a very gracious staff and light atmosphere. A couple of bottled beers will get you some complimentary hot Saki too! Good food and a great place to eat before going to a movie; which is what my family and I do every time.
