We are staying at the Dana Resort on Thanksgiving Day/weekend 2017 and called their on-site restaurant, the Firefly, to see if we could make a last minute reservation. They had a no-show at 6:30 and said they would hold it if we came over from our room immediately. We did the 6:30 opening and wow, are so lucky! The service was perfect. We told our waiter we did not want the turkey day special. He recommended the sea bass and the beef short ribs. My wife and I shared both of these entrees along with a walnut/vinaigrette salad. The food was perfectly pepared and presented. This dinner was an unexpected but perfect experience to make our Thanksgiving very memerable.
I'll keep it short and sweet. Waited a while for food and service. Was served $5.00 worth of calimari and charged $14.00. Both of our dishes were not the best, but still better then Military food by a little on certain days.
Been waiting for 30 minutes before a server approach and took our order, the napkins smells a lot i guess they washed it in oil or some sort.. We ordered the chicken and there's no seasoning on the chicken gross. Great view but dinner tastes horrible. Morning breakfast was great really impressive. Please improve dinner menus.
Amazing food, excellent service, and a great atmosphere. I would spend time there often.
The sea bass and muahroom risotto was excellent.
i have a very good expeirence here. the food was great. service a bit slow but overall i really enjoyed it.
Awsome service. Food is great!
Firefly is okay if you are staying in the hotel. We ate there a few months ago, but may be better now. The breakfast buffet was brought in from another restaurant, because the kitchen was closed for cleaning. Still, it is better than some other mid-priced hotel restaurants.
Our service was top notch. There was a little hiccup with our food prepared properly. My medium rare steak was completely over cooked (well done to be precise). However, our server, Pearce, was fantastic in every way. The manager even took the time to insure our dining experience was a happy one. Service means more to us than quality & price at this point. Hopefully the chef will improve, but you won't find better service, character or atmosphere at a resort in the vicinity.
