I once had a panini here, which was dripping with cheese and grease, which I didn't like.. I also had the salmon here recently, which was good. The big plus this place has is the location and atmosphere. It's located next to the river and available seating is mostly outside, which is great. They have patio heaters on when colder. All in all good place.

Been here several times for both lunch & dinner. Always friendly service & great atmosphere. Stopped today just for a drink & still had multiple waitresses checking on us & making small talk which is impressive for a restaurant around this area. Love how they are always keeping the place updated & clean. Live music at the Blue Gator is always a fun time as well.

This place has it all. Great food (love, love, love the fish tacos), lots of fun and some of the hardest working people you can imagine.
There are airboat rides. The motel is adorable and so very comfy. The staff is very knowledgeable about the river and available fishing. Great times!

The food is alway GREAT and the prices are reasonable. Fun atmosphere with an outside deck to enjoy the view of the river while eating and drinking and jamming on the weekend. Indoor bar and dinning also Great service by Chris today. She was great Thank you 😍

On the river. Nice people. I like sitting on the deck outside with TVs to watch the football game. The alligator bites are very good. Prices are good. Would like it more if there was a little more lightning at night outside so you can see what you are eating. If you are not under the canopy you might have trouble seeing at night.

My primary issue is people smoking on the deck while I was eating. They were away from the tables but you could still smell the smoke. I’m a former smoker & don’t like smoke around while I eat, even outside.

I ate there yesterday with my family, parents, brother, his wife, my nephew and my daughter. First of all my brother raved about this place, they have a favorite waitress and everything. So maybe I was a little let down because of the build up but we waited over a half an hour for our food. Honestly I think the server forgot to ring in our order. And then my food was horrible. I ordered the Philly. The steak was bad quality and over cooked, not enough cheese and I got like two green peppers on the whole thing. The only reason this place got three stars instead of one is the atmosphere. It's right on the river and it's beautiful. They have a cool little dock that you walk around on. I wouldn't go back to eat but I would go back to drink. They have neat bar top seating around the edge of the deck with a nice view of the river.

The food here is awesome, especially after a long day on the Rainbow River!! We sat at the bar and had excellent service. There was a live band, which is always fun, and the beers were ice cold!!

At first I was impressed with the staff and how friendly they were. The view of the river was great. Then the food came and blew us away. The gator bites. The yellow tail snapper. The grouper. The seafood is amazing. The hush puppies were so good. The dinner was wrapped up by the

First time having frog legs and the famous gator bites!!! Loved the country feel and I like the option of sharing a table! Definitely a great way to meet new people and to have a great night! They have a dance floor and live music! Super fun!! Will go back in my next trip. Prices are affordable, even with alcohol

I work here at The Blue Gator and I have to say I really enjoy my job. It's a great place to work. My co-workers are awesome, our management are great and Bob and Dallis are are amazing people to work for. It's a great family oriented place to eat and hang out and the view is amazing. Not to mention our food is great and always fresh and the best quality. I would definitely recommend that you come visit us and bring your friends and family.

Super friendly service. I am in town for a few days and don't know anyone here. The staff was super friendly and made this a great evening out. I even splurged for an awesome peanut butter dessert.

Nice casual bar restaurant. Saturday local bands provide entertainment. Right on the Withlachoochee River with good food. Go there often. Provide shuttle from across street parking and staff are always personable. Fun Place.

Though it was a little loud and felt crowded at times the food (Gator bites & Blackened grouper fish tacos) was great. The beer was cold & liquor was smooth! The two employees that I interacted with on my visit (Brandi my server & Chris the cook) were courteous and friendly. So to hear neither one of them are employed there any longer was a shock. I'm certain that they have both moved on to better establishments to suit their talents in customer service! I would dine here again. Thanks.

If you are looking for a fun, relaxed, casual atmosphere to eat lunch then you should try this place. Located next to the river, patrons can sit outside, soak up the sun and fresh air while enjoying local specials. I had the blackened grouper sandwich which was absolutely amazing, and quite possibly the best I ever had, and I mean ever. The service was great and the price moderate for a waterfront restaurant. Parking might seem to be a bit tricky but have no fear, they have a shuttle service here. So there are no worries, just great food in a relaxed atmosphere! What more can you ask for?
