Even if your scared you can make it. Climb up the spiral stair case with spots to stop and gain your composure. Complete with a little tour of the historic grounds and a museum.
Great view water and land side. Free for AD.
Walked up to the top of lighthouse. Has beaufiful 360 degree view of Jupiter, Inlet, and the surrounding ares of land & sea. Awesome gift shop had beautiful things such lighthouse replicas, t- shirts, hats, framed pictures, pillow with manatee, jewelry and assorted items at reasonable prices.
Great place to go. Fantastic view from the top of the lighthouse and the tour guide was GREAT. Would love to go again. Gift shop very nice not over prices. Makes you want to go back.
Beautiful lighthouse and the tour to the top offers a nice view of the rivers meeting the ocean and the surrounding area. Our tour guide was friendly and helpful. I would like to go back and see the lighthouse working at night!
Beautiful place. Awesome view from the top! Only negative was not being able to spend any time relaxing under the incredible tree!
Great trip for a day date. Tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. View at the top of the lighthouse was beautiful and the large ficus tree was breathtaking. Only thing I was not too happy about was being rushed after we got to the top of the lighthouse.
Very nice! Highly recommended! It's beautiful, but you have to be part of a tour to come in, no meandering on your own. Solid place to be a tourist, bring the kids, kayaking and other water sports nearby. Wish the guide had gone more into detail about the history and surroundings, but it was good overall.
The only downside to the visit was your not aloud to walk around the lighthouse grounds without the tour guides. The lighthouse was renovated recently and was in beautiful condition. The walk up isn't bad at all. Our tour guide was very nice and had good knowledge of the park. This is a must stop if you're in the area.
The lighthouse is beautiful and so is the landscaping. The trees, banana trees, wild coffee plants, and pineapple plants were all very interesting but the tour is very rushed. You only have 30 minutes to walk up the hill to the light house, climb up and down, then tour the other houses/buildings. For 12$ a person I just expected to have the option to read everything and enjoy the area a little more. Our guide didn't seem to know very much information about anything and even have out incorrect information to other memebers of our tour. The museum is mediocre at best but I still felt like it was worth it just to see the light house with my wife for the first time because the light house and view of the bay and surrounding area was great.
A good tour with a knowledgeable guide. I really feel like I learned a lot about my County and country's history
Would give it a 5-star rating, but the lighthouse was closed due to remodeling. Otherwise great tour, interesting museum, beautiful gift shop, and nice people.
More than just a lighthouse. The museum has a lot of great displays. The gardens on way to lighthouse are very nice. The preserved (yet air conditioned) house is well done. Just don't make the mistake that I did and get you 5-year old excited about climbing up to the top of the lighthouse only to find out that they require 48" or taller. No exceptionseven if very close.
My family and I stopped by this museum as we waited for reservations at a nearby restaurant and were very impressed with how succinct but feature-packed the tour was!
The staff are knowledge and friendly, and the 105 step hike to the top of the light house is so worth it for the incredible view of the inlet!
Just wonderful. Do a sunset tour if you can. Amazing views, and watching the light work up close is a great. :)
