Horrible service.
Food is good but the service is HORRIBLE. They gave away our reserved table and made us wait for 45 minutes. This was for a 10 pm reservation on Saturday evening. The front desk girl said people were not leaving and thus it was taking time!!!!
The manager came later to apologize and said ‘being busy is the downside of being a popular restaurant.’ What a concept of an Apology.

Indian Accent has amazing food and the service is far far better. I would recommend not going to Junoon. Go elsewhere where they understand the concept of service. There are many great Indian restaurants in Manhattan.

With no hyperbole, this is the best meal I have had in my entire life.

If you even think you like Indian food Junoon is a must see restaurant in Manhattan. Their pre-fix lunch is $30 for a three course meal of phenomenal food.

Everything is fresh from meats to vegetables, even their spices are all freshly milled before service downstairs in a neat room you can see into.

The wait staff was spectacular, providing a service matching their Michallin star status.

Seldom have I spent an entire meal smiling. it's the best food I've had in my life. You will not find better Indian food in this hemisphere. Take it from an Indian. Our server, Manoj, was extraordinary and seemed to be in love with the place. It was lovely to have his recommendations.

While the ambiance and world class service was excellent, the disappointment in the flavor profiles of the the many dishes we tried was unmistakably carelessness in kitchen etiquette. (Taste and temp before you serve) the golden rules!!!!! The enthusiasm we had after experiencing just below room temperature highly acclaimed lamb shank slowly faded. Despite the efforts of great service and a gracious chef it's difficult to bounce back from under seasoned and over smoked dishes. Definitely a miss for us.

Enjoyed the menu there. Not that many Indian places that score Michelin level honors can perfect the Indian and Western vibe. These guys do an amazing job. Service was top notch but during big parties it can get a bit crazy with the staff!

I posted on Facebook too. Wonderful experience! Went here to celebrate my son's 11th birthday in August. Professional and attentive staff! They really seem to enjoy their job! The food was a surprise to my limited palette but so tasty and spicy. Being a Caribbean native this was perfect for me. We took lots of pics and my son, who enjoys cooking himself, got a chance to meet the executive chef and owners. This made his day!

If the criterion for a Michelin star is that every bite is perfect.. then this place disappoints. Went for lunch. Some great dishes, others not so much. Could have got the same quality elsewhere cheaper

First thing first. Families with children, please do not try to reserve as they are adult only restaurant. They are not child friendly. No high chairs, no booster seats, no choices for kids. They will not let you bring your kids to dine with you. Actually they should mention it in their website. But front desk when asked tells that you receive email after booking which has all details after booking, really!! do we really have time to read emails from restaurants for terms and conditions as if they are going to make us sit with President of US. Menu choices are subpar. Yes if you like to have some drinks and some formal dinner with Adults only family, then it may be a choice but overall their waiters are too pushy checking every 2 minutes are you ready? instead of letting the party sit and enjoy the time as if they want you just order and finish the food and empty the table for next party.

Junoon is a Michelin star restaurant known for its modern take on Indian cuisine. It recently switched to a fixed menu and I went to try it a month ago. The new menu is absolutely fantastic. I ordered the 5 course option and each plate was absolutely beautifully presented. The portions were adequate and by the time I had finished my meal, I was very full. The thing I love most was the variety of tastes each course has from the previous one. The appetizers were very rich and savory and my main course had the perfect blend of spice and richness. The desert was again fantastic and very satisfying. The décor of the restaurant is great too and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The chef is also very open to coming to your table to talk to you.

absolutely the most amazing Indian restaurant we have been to in a LONG time. We attended after my daughter's college graduation and our entire party was NOT disappointed. The food was excellent, the flavors were different from traditional Indian restaurants. The service was amazing and desire to please the guests was something that we have not seen at any other Indian restaurant. Example - they noticed my daughter's graduation cap, and without being told by anyone in our group, went out of their way to create a small dessert with the words Congratulations spelled out in chocolate syrup script see pics. That is going above and beyond. Are they quite a bit expensive? Yes. But was it worth it for the experience and memories? Absolutely across the board among our entire party!

I don't understand what the hype is all about I was unbelievably disappointed!

After a crazy and ultra tiring day walking all over NYC, we felt like ending the day with some good Indian food. My friend recommended this restaurant and the reviews looked impressive.

The restaurant looked fabulous and our spirits rose! Service was good too But when we ate the food, we were so disappointed. The quantity itself is a joke!

I was so disheartened that the food in this restaurant is customized to suit the American palate to such unbelievable lengths , that it has completely lost its Indian identity. I've had bad biryanis and this was by far the worst especially cause the restaurant looks so classy And they do not charge you any less! Damn!

Environment and service are very nice. Food was okay. Little milder side. Perfect for non Indian and kids. Not impressed with presentation at all. Very simple.. may be we were for lunch time at there. Not sure. Bt didn't like presentation at alland mild food cost wise is perfect

Swank, high-end Indian dining experience. Can't say I've ever experienced anything like this. Came with a group of 20 and everything on the prix fixe menu was scrumptious. Every dish had the perfect balance of spices to grab your attention while allowing the ingredients to shine. Excellent drink menu as well.

This is the best Indian restaurant I have ever tried. I am big foodie so try to explore different restaurants but this one is just awesome. They have very good wine collection too. Ambiance, food and service all are beyond my expectations. A must try for all Indian cuisine lovers.
